It seeks to predict and control the behaviors while finding out the causes through observation and reasoning process. The sole purpose of psychology is to know and understand why people behave the way they do. The domain of psychology has, in course of time, emerged as one of the important disciplines. It has its scopes and being applicable to different fields of human endeavors, such as industries, education, personality development, and branching out into popular streams like clinical psychology, industrial psychology, peace psychology, counseling psychology, and many more for the treatment of mental and emotional issues.

Psychology is one of the important disciplines in the area of behavioral sciences. It is the scientific study of human behavior. In the present era of stress and change, there has been a rapid increase in the demand of professionals in the various fields of Psychology. Considering such requirements, the postgraduate programme in Psychology aims to create experts in the fields of Guidance and Counselling Psychology as well as in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Specialization in Clinical Psychology is also offered.

The program offers extensive knowledge and expertise in food making, research, and development. A food scientist studies the nature and quality of food along with designing and managing food processing equipment. It includes coursework in areas of nutrition, food packaging, quality control management, basic food chemistry, and human physiology, etc. This course familiarizes the students with advanced-level developments of new and healthy eating trends. They are trained to tackle issues such as the nutritional significance of processed food in the diet, functional food items, the importance of nutrition labeling and nutrition claims, catering technology, and nutritional quality. Alongside developing current techniques in food analysis, food structure, and food processing, the students are imparted with advanced lessons in nutraceuticals and their relationship to health and diseases.

The Department of Visual Arts at Mody University keeps its vision to harmonize the society through its most modern art and artists. Painting, Sculpture, Applied, Print, and Graphic design are the core areas of Visual Arts moreover it needs to be treated in the most contemporary manner where a direct bridge can be created to the industry. We at the department teach fine art in such a way that it can serve to masses and not limited to niche segments only. The Digital version of Painting, Sculpture, Applied, and Print plays a very crucial role for the same, our pedagogy follows this pattern while keeping all the classical methodology. For example, painting on canvas may be a single piece and will serve as a limitation whereas on-screen through digital format gives you more freedom to explore and to reach masses.
