M.Tech. (Biotech) Genetic Engineering is a two-year postgraduate programme that deals with the study of direct manipulation of an organism's genes using biotechnological techniques. The programme draws focus on topics like molecular genetics, immuno-biology, recombinant DNA technology, pharmacogenomics, stem cell technology and others.

M.Sc. Big Data and Analytics is a postgraduate programme in the field of information science. The duration of the M.Sc Big Data and Analytics program is two years and consists of four semesters of study. The course covers Big Data, Analytics, Statistics, Forecasting, and Mathematics, among other topics.

M.Sc. Big Data and Analytics is a course that focuses on producing marketable talents in the Data Science industry by generating a professional sense of analytical and technical abilities for people with quantitative aptitude who are interested in Data Science and Big Data Analytics.

Department of Biotechnology started with a vision to impart in-depth knowledge of biotechnology to create a pool of scientific personnel with expertise in biological engineering. Since then the department has endeavoured to educate and train its students to develop proficiency in each sector of biotechnology. The scheme of courses has been designed keeping in the demand trend in mind. A conscious effort has been made so that curriculum of each programme integrates courses of biological sciences and engineering together with relevant laboratory programs and a compulsory research project of variable duration. The university has recognized the significant role being played by biotechnologists in industrial development and has sought to implement an integrated approach towards education and research. The department strongly believes a teacher has to be involved in active research to be in touch with the recent development in the subject so as to deliver the latest know-how. The department has a strong interdisciplinary research and teaching base in biological sciences and engineering which prepares the student for industry as well as research programs. 

All the basic infrastructural facilities needed for conducting teaching and research programmes in different areas of Biotechnology have been developed in the department. The department is housed in a newly constructed building consisting of classrooms with audio-visual facilities well-equipped students laboratories research laboratories special lab for molecular biology genetic engineering plant tissue culture Microbial technology nano biotechnology and bioinformatics. the students undergo project training in modern biotechnology viz bioinformatics genomics nano biotechnology cancer cell signaling plant and animal Biotechnology structure base drug design neuro biology etc.

B. Tech in Electronics and Communication is a four-year undergraduate programme focused on utilising science and applied mathematics to solve practical problems in the field of communications. 

The programme commences with acquainting the students to the principles of Electronics Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Computer Networks, Analog Electronics and Network Theory. Progressively the programme deals with subjects like Digital Communication Computer Architecture and Technical Skill Enhancement.

In addition, the programme also focuses on improving the skill set of students through industrial visits and practical sessions. A good number of weeks are dedicated training slots incorporated within the curriculum for the same. M.Tech. in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering is a two-year postgraduate programme that involves the analysis and design of steel and concrete structures and analysis of structures for dynamic forces and study of advanced materials. It requires knowledge and competence in the areas of materials, response of individual structural components, and the behavior of entire structural systems. This programme trains individuals in advanced concepts of structural engineering by in-depth coursework, hands-on modeling projects and dissertation work. Students undergo coursework during the first year on various aspects of structural engineering and apply these constructs to a major research project during the second year. Students are imparted advanced learning in Analysis and Design of Structures, Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Resistant Design of Structures, Repair and Rehabilitation of Structures and Advanced Materials. The students are exposed to practical learning by working on real-world projects in the Structure Design lab integrated with latest design software and construction material lab. M. Tech. Electronics & Communication Engineering (VLSI Technology) is a two-year post-graduate programme encompassing the advanced study of modern Electronics and Communication techniques. This specialized programme focuses on instilling skills related to design, development, observation, and application of VLSI Technology.

The VLSI Technology program will cover the fundamentals and engineering aspect of designing and developing IC based systems. Traditionally, VLSI technology has emerged out as a successful collection of two streams: namely material science and electrical engineering.

The state of the art VLSI technology requires research in physical devices as well as novel design and development of electrical circuits. The program will focus on developing hands-on skill of designing semiconductor devices and circuits, architecting systems using embedded components such as, CPU, memory and peripherals.
