The Master's Program in Automation and Robotics Engineering is an interdisciplinary programme composed of mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering and mechatronics engineering. Mechatronics engineering is a multidisciplinary study of the engineering/technology field that deals with the study of electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering, system engineering, and control engineering. Mechatronics engineering is a connection amongst technicians and engineers and gradually work from origination of a project to the culmination of the undertaking. Mechatronic Engineers are integral in the development of new technologies. Mechatronics industry is one of the largest industries in the current market with unlimited scope and amazing opportunities, both professionally and monetarily. 

The specialization in marketing prepares the students on subjects like Financial Institutions and Markets, Behavioural Finance, etc. The program instils the skills, knowledge and aptitude required to develop a holistic understanding of the specialized area, so that the student becomes industry ready.

UPES School of Design’s Post Graduate Programme, M.Des. in Product Design curriculum is designed in a way that gradually increases in complexity levels and covers broad areas that product designers will come across in their professional careers. Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering with Specialization In Process Design Engineering is an industry-oriented program training the students in chemical process development and designing. The students as part of the curriculum go for one year of Industrial project where they receive immense industrial experience. We also have a MoU with Grasim Industries - Aditya Birla Ltd., for the M. Tech Industrial project/ internship program.

The subjects covered under arts include Sociology, History, Political Science in correlation with legal subjects of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and Labour Laws under the proficient guidance of highly qualified faculty members.

This is a five-year program that offers domain-specific subjects ranging from Making of the Indian Constitution, Jurisprudential Approach to Constitution to Comparative Federalism, and Legislative Relations. Drawing heavily from the rulings made in the Supreme Court, it is designed to preserve the relationships between state and federal governments and protect the rights of the individual. Furthermore, it enables the students to become better citizens by sensitising them about concepts that are the basis of a civilised society.

Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry covers a broad spectrum of activities related to the research based on the interaction between drugs and biological targets and the relationship of chemical composition and dynamics to biological activities. This includes drug design, discovery of medical needs and the study of chemical substances at the molecular level. The interdisciplinary research involves bio-organic and medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, development of synthetic methodology, chromatography techniques, natural products isolation and synthesis, chemical biology, analytical and spectroscopic techniques etc.

Applied Mathematics focuses on the innovative creation and imaginative use of mathematical concepts to present and solve problems over the various field of natural sciences, engineering sciences, medical sciences and emerging fields such as data sciences and artificial intelligence. The program is designed to provide students an increased knowledge and comprehensive understanding of mathematics, particularly in algorithms, fluid mechanics, differential equations, probability and stochastics, and optimisation.
