UPES provides unique and focused Integrated M.Sc-PhD course aiming to deliver expertise in theoretical and experimental understanding of Mathematics and its allied disciplines. The program is designed such that after completing it, students would be able to excel in academia, industries, and research. The faculty members in the department have diverse research expertise including but not limited to Reliability analysis and optimization, numerical analysis, fluid dynamics, differential geometry, image processing and data analysis, dynamical system and mathematical modelling, etc., which would provide students flexibility in opting for their PhD topic. The curriculum is designed to give exposure not only about the subject but also research ethics, communication and skill augmentation. The completion of the course ensures deep knowledge with wide exposure, intellectual development, and ethical awareness that make students ready for various professional research, industrial and academic opportunities.  

M.Tech by Research facilitates industry fellows and upcoming research scholars with specific knowledge of the problem to be investigated in a way to draft novel and efficient solutions that have both scientific and industrial viability. This program aims at strengthening the students' core knowledge and greater potential to contribute to core research in the field of science and technology.

This course gives an overview of cyber laws including the legal regime related to cyber-crime, copyright issue in cyberspace, cyber-crimes, and related subjects. Various class assignments and other activities involve case studies, group activities, cooperative group solving problems with real-life examples, so that students can get the idea about the practical aspects of this field.

Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) in Fashion Design introduces students to a combination of traditional craft techniques with digital technologies to transform concepts from two-dimensional fabrics into three-dimensional forms. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.

Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering with Specialization In Process Automation is an industry-oriented program training the students in chemical process automation. The students will be provided hands-on training and skills ins process automation, Advanced process control, process optimization etc., which will make them industry ready.

PhD in Safety Engineering is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of Safety Engineering.

The program trains students to apply skills learnt in a classroom along with industry exposure in a developmental context.
