UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Animation and VFX prepares students with a strong grounding in design, video and audio skills, alongside modeling, rigging, texturing, lighting, digital cinematography, digital color grading, and 3D digital graphics. The equipment used during food processing, packaging requirement, utensils, standards related to material used in construction of food processing equipment’s, standardisation of food process, arrangements of equipment’s in best possible way.  The food processing Industry visit carried out for practical knowledge.  Food Industry Trainings are also carried out. Scope and importance of food plant engineering, Processing methods and their requirements, Preservation by drying, Preservation by low temperature, heat treatments, and Food conversion operation. In this a student learns about various techniques and procedures involved in food packaging. This subject helps a student to understand the importance of processing of various kinds of food products. This course covers both practical and theoretical aspects of food industry.

Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) in Fashion Design introduces students to a combination of traditional craft techniques with digital technologies to transform concepts from two-dimensional fabrics into three-dimensional forms. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.

The Digital Video Production and Monetisation, specialisation introduces students to MoJo (Mobile Journalism). Students will learn how to shoot, edit and produce video content with Mobile Phones. They will learn hands - on working on live projects in workshop mode to create digital multimedia content. They will be introduced to the basics of narrative structure and visual language, and a comprehensive overview of video production.They will also be introduced to distribution and monetisation strategies across digital platforms like YouTube, Facebook & Instagram amongst others.
