UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Graphic & Communication Design prepares students for image design, typography, layout design, branding, design history, research methods, web-based design, digital design, photography, and graphics technology. To be successful in business, one should be aware of these cultural disparities of its employees.

This program offers basic technologies of Virtualization (enabler of Cloud), infrastructure less computing at client side by IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)-by Vmware, Virtual Box, Openstack etc., PaaS (Platform as a service), having platforms for development environments, SaaS(Software as a Service), deploying software on cloud enabled infrastructure, performance tuning of deployed objects-checking efficiency and security in Cloud.

The specialization prepares the students on subjects including Service Operations and Total Quality Management. The emphasis is on developing critical as well as analytical thinking in the specialized area though case study, projects, workshops, masterclasses by industry experts, among other pedagogical tools. ?

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

Forensic science is a highly advanced research method used in criminal and civil investigations to address critical questions. An integral part of the criminal justice system, it includes techniques such as the analysis of fingerprints, DNA analysis, and ballistics and explosives.

This course has been designed keeping in mind the close interrelation between law and forensic science to make students well-versed with the fundamental and advanced concepts of forensic science and its application in legal jurisprudence.

The growing communications industry in India has opened new avenues for media professionals. This degree program caters to the growing demand for digital savvy communicators in this space. It is designed to empower students interested in strategic communications, event management, public relations & corporate communications. The program focuses on developing marketing campaigns, internal & external communication skills & strategic media planning. The Specialization in Media Management, Marketing Campaigns and Strategic Communications, equips students with a strategic 360-degree corporate communication toolset for effective marketing communication. Students interested in managing brand products, working in the marketing space globally, using development communication in the social sector or entering strategic communications professionally or particularly suited for this course. The broad themes students would be exploring in detail as part of this specialisation include: Managing Brands, Marketing Communications, Product Management, Campaign Design, Strategic Marketing and Communication for Social Development.

Biosimilar is that branch of study which deals with study of drugs that are very similar to original product, but not identical. They are not generic drugs and do not possess the same active pharmaceutical ingredient, yet comparable to original reference drug in terms of quality, safety and efficacy. Biosimilar are alternative potential therapeutics but not generics. For biosimilar products, the manufacturing process requires a high level of monitoring and testing.  

At UPES, B.Tech. Biotechnology students with a specialization in Biosimilar will be made familiar with existing regulations, manufacturing sciences and distribution practices of Biosimilar products in India and all across the globe. Students will learn about controversies associated with Generic drugs and need for development of Biosimilar products. Students will also learn how a drug is discovered in a lab, followed by testing in clinical trials and then launched in market for commercialization.

PhD in Computer Science Engineering is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of Computer Science Engineering.

Businesses conventionally handled within the commercial banking and insurance sectors are making creative use of the structured capital market methods, and substantial developments are taking place both in trading systems and in the post-trade infrastructure. Along with new opportunities, these changes present new regulatory and legal risk management challenges as well. The course provides a strong intellectual analysis of these markets, including insights from substantive private law, regulation, and practice.

This course provides a holistic view of the techno-commercial and policy-cum-regulatory framework of energy and its relationship with other sectors. The curriculum deepens the students’ understanding of the relationship between commercial economics, industry profitability, regulatory reforms vis-a-vis conservation, development, environmental impact, and judicious use of resources.
