Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

This five-year undergraduate program is customized to give students comprehensive exposure to law, commerce, and tax. The course is delivered by a blend of full-time faculties, industry fellows, and workshops by taxation experts. Students who are enrolled in integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. with specialization in Analytical Chemistry program, can enhance their skills related to evaluation, measurement, and interpretation of scientific data. The last semester of the program is dedicated to dissertation work making students aware about the application of concepts on real-life challenges. This course explores in detail the types of rules, policies, and controls put in place to determine the behaviour of a corporation, and the intended outcome of those measures. Taking a practical look at how to identify, set, and uphold a corporate governance means that the students will be able to enrich their understanding and skillset in this area, with the support of experienced practitioners who can demonstrate real-life examples to contextualize what one learns.

The Students enrolling in this specialisation acquire proper training in petroleum engineering with a primary focus on exploration and production of oil and gas. Regulatory Affairs is a domain with a broad overview and the responsibility for collecting all kinds of data from the development processes and sending it to regulatory authorities. The courses will provide broad perspectives and integrated knowledge to the students from Innovation →Discovery → Approval→ Commercialization which implies regulatory affairs are essential to bring the product to the market globally. This course specialization provides a comprehensive education in the important aspects of Regulatory and Quality compliance in pharmaceutical industry. Students gets updated with the current regulatory and compliance issues and explore careers in these exciting times. Nowadays regulations and ever changing laws are driving demand for pharmaceutical regulatory affair professionals who can help companies successfully bring medical products to the market.

In addition this program also offers Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) applications in Clinical Research to upgrade Medical and Health Science. Machine Learning Techniques like pre-trained deep learning models and convolutional neural networks (CNN) provides excellent opportunities for drug-development processes and makes clinical trial more intelligent.

UPES provides unique and focused Integrated M.Sc-PhD course aiming to deliver expertise in theoretical and experimental understanding of Physics and its allied disciplines. The program is designed such that after completing it, students would be able to excel in academia, industries, and research. The faculty members in the department have diverse research expertise including but not limited to materials science, nanotechnology, renewable energy, computational materials science, high energy physics, nuclear physics, plasmonics, spintronics, etc., which would provide students flexibility in opting for their PhD topic. Space Technology deals with the design and analysis of space vehicles, Space flight or space exploration. The curriculum covers areas such as, Space Science & Space Environment, Rocket Propulsion, Orbital Mechanics and Design of Aerospace Vehicles. In the recent year the space industry has undergone significant changes such as reusable launch vehicle and also sees a tremendous amount of increase in commercial opportunities. Most prominently space technology warns people of upcoming disasters ultimately, saves thousands of lives.

Applied Mathematics focuses on the innovative creation and imaginative use of mathematical concepts to present and solve problems over the various field of natural sciences, engineering sciences, medical sciences and emerging fields such as data sciences and artificial intelligence. The program is designed to provide students an increased knowledge and comprehensive understanding of mathematics, particularly in algorithms, fluid mechanics, differential equations, probability and stochastics, and optimisation. 

The full term of two years and the syllabus for the program is divided into four semesters. This Master’s program is also an ideal preparation for various PhD programs in basic sciences and engineering.  

The B. Tech. Applied Petroleum Engineering Upstream Spl in Specialization in Digital oilfield training is the panacea for intricacies of today’s oilfield business. There is scarcity of digitally trained workforce in E & P sector, which is major roadblock in the adoption of digitalization in the oil and gas industry.

Keeping this in mind, UPES offers digital oil field specialization to B Tech students of petroleum engineering. Digital oilfield concept blends business process management with digital technologies for workflow automation, productivity maximization, and cost reduction, resulting in O&G operation risk minimization.

A thorough implementation of digital oilfield can aid E&P as well as service companies enhance operational efficiency, production optimization, data integration, teamwork, and workflow automation. Furthermore, productivity gains can be achieved through enriched understanding of the subsurface, long-distance monitoring of drilling and completion operations, and logistics optimization.

Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering with Specialization In Process Design Engineering is an industry-oriented program training the students in chemical process development and designing. The students as part of the curriculum go for one year of Industrial project where they receive immense industrial experience. We also have a MoU with Grasim Industries - Aditya Birla Ltd., for the M. Tech Industrial project/ internship program.
