B.Tech CSE with specialization in Data Science is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) undergraduate program that focuses on using various scientific methods and methodologies to extract important data from raw data. B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cyber Security is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) specialised undergraduate program that focuses on comprehensive knowledge of cyber-crime, network security, cryptography, intrusion detection and prevention systems. To safeguard an IT infrastructure, the program provides essential information on how to analyse and resolve security risks in networks and computer systems. Secure software and hardware must be designed, developed, tested, and evaluated to create rules and procedures for managing security threats in any organisation. In view of this, program also offers in depth knowledge of data structures, algorithm design and analysis, security policies, security laws, firewalls, and computer forensics.

During the course of the program, student work on the latest tools in their laboratory sessions to acquire complete knowledge of the subjects. Environmental engineers are involved in the field of water and waste management, and involved in the major challenges like global warming, acid rain, ozone depletion, and water and air pollution. That requires a specialized training in the field and owing to this Uttaranchal University offers a post graduate program in the field of Environment Engineering.

The BBA program seeks to provide to the management trainees the understanding of the theory, practice of management and the required knowledge and skills to succeed in the business world. The degree programme is intended for those who wish to acquire business and managerial knowledge and skills. The curriculum provides the students with a strategic perspective on contemporary issues in management. The academic curriculum of this 3 years programme involves comprehensive learning that would produce managers who are well equipped with technical expertise and practical knowledge relevant to today’s globalized environment. This program provides the students with practical orientation and broad specialization in marketing, finance, information systems, human resource management and international business. The programme has extensive in-house practical training, with audio-visual support, class room session, case studies, seminar session, summer training and industrial visits.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology with Research (4 Year Programme) will have specific focus on inculcating scientific and research skills with respect to role of microbiologist in industries, medicine and environmental studies. Specific industrial training in included in curriculum for students to identify industrial processes with specific role of microbiologist in quality control and research & development departments.  

B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with specialization IoT is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) undergraduate program that is designed to impart sound theoretical and practical learning of networking and communication technologies. The knowledge is essential to develop heterogeneous applications in the field of the internet of things (IoT). The program includes the foundations of multiple predecessors of IoT, such as, WSN and M2M so that students can understand the significance of the IoT domain.

The program gradually provides the knowledge of various sensors and their development, a thorough understanding of communication and connectivity technologies used in IoT solutions. Live case studies and projects from different sectors of society and industry are the key features of this program so that a student may be able to provide the real-time solutions required for making smart devices.
