BSc Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme offered by Uttaranchal University to prepare students to assume responsibilities as competent nurses in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. The programme enables the students to apply knowledge from physical, biological, and behavioural sciences in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities. We offer broad based nursing education within an academic framework specifically directed to the development of critical thinking skills, competencies & standards required for practice of professional nursing and midwifery.

Nurses are the pillar of the healthcare sector and comprise two-thirds of the health workforce in India. B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics is a three year Honors Program. The thrust of this Program is to impart extensive knowledge of Physics, both in theoretical and practical spheres. The Programme involves Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Optics, Heat & Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Atomic, Nuclear & Particle Physics and Lasers & Instrumentation and Electronics. Besides these, the students will also study the generic subjects like English, Mathematics and Computer Application.

B.Tech CSE with specialization in Data Science is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) undergraduate program that focuses on using various scientific methods and methodologies to extract important data from raw data. The curriculum provides students with the opportunity to study strategies and abilities, such as, data extraction, methodology analysis, and so on.

Data science is an important aspect of the IT business; it is used to manage datasets and extract useful information. Students at Uttaranchal University have numerous opportunities to develop skills in querying, mining, cleansing, inspecting, and analyzing databases.

Students will be taught how to use the most up-to-date tools in the field of data science. Industry expert guest lecturers as part of teaching-learning pedagogy are regularly conducted for Data Science tool training and deployment. B.Tech Civil Engineering is a 4 years (8 semesters) undergraduate program designed to create engineers who can work for the society for creating space to improve their living standard, create safe and secure environment from natural and manmade disasters. The teaching – learning pedagogy involves not only class room teaching but also experiential learning through practical in the lab, fields and interactions with experts, training in workshops, internships, live projects and field work. Students are taught variety of courses in the field of structural engineering, transportation engineering, water supply and waste water treatment, environment engineering, foundation engineering, surveying, estimation and costing etc. Apart from that students have exposure to software learning relevant to industry and it is ensured that students are industry ready after leaving the college life and easily adaptive to the new environment through skill development based courses.

Geographical Information System (GIS) is an inter-disciplinary field that builds expertise in the application of geospatial technologies to the most important real-world concerns in the areas of the environment, earth sciences, social sciences, and economics. The field focuses on translating geospatial data into useful end-user information by using acquisition, processing, characterisation, analysis, and modelling to better understand geographic patterns, processes, and interactions at all scales, from macro to global.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two year professional post-graduate program for aspirants willing to have command over applications of computers with the help of learning modern programming languages. The program focuses on establishing core concepts along with the strong programming aptitude. An operation theatre (OT) technologist is an essential component. Operating theatre technology training is required to become a trained professional.  An OTT, or Operation Theatre Technician, is a healthcare worker who assists in the preparation and maintenance of operating rooms and equipment. It’s a support function that entails assisting the surgical and anaesthesia teams during operations. An OTT is responsible for Assist surgeons within an operating room, maintain and prepare an operating room for operations, set up instrument trolleys for surgeries, clean and disinfect surgical equipment after surgeries, handle and transport patients to wards and recovery rooms after surgeries

B.Sc. (Life Sciences) CBZ is a 3 years degree program covering aspects of Chemistry Botany and Zoology. LL.M. degree prepares the students for a satisfying career in various branches of law, such as law officers, legal advisors and law professionals having independent set-up. LL.M. degree also qualifies a person for teaching in a law school and university. They can also take Judicial Service Examination and become judges. There is no dearth of career opportunities for LL.M. degree holders.
