Geographical Information System (GIS) is an inter-disciplinary field that builds expertise in the application of geospatial technologies to the most important real-world concerns in the areas of the environment, earth sciences, social sciences, and economics. The field focuses on translating geospatial data into useful end-user information by using acquisition, processing, characterisation, analysis, and modelling to better understand geographic patterns, processes, and interactions at all scales, from macro to global.

M.Sc. Biotechnology is a two year program spread into four semesters. The curriculum comprises of comprise core courses, open elective and discipline specific electives. Core courses provide conceptual knowledge and experimental learning pertaining to basic and applied field of biotechnology through different teaching learning methods. Zoology beside providing conceptual and practical knowledge related to basic and applied field of zoology also aims to provide skills related to advanced analytical techniques utilized in zoological studies with an objective to impart research aptitude among students. The curriculum is enriched with seminar presentation, industrial visit and report writing enhance communication and presentation skills with dissertation being a compulsory part inculcates critical thinking ability to design and develop solutions to problems related to environment, health and society.
