Bachelor of Hotel Management is a graduate programme which introduces students to Hotel Industry. The Hotel Industry is a part of the wider Hospitality or Service Sector. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a phrase that refers to physical substance that are make by softwares, sensors and different techniques that allow to communicate with other equipment and systems over the Internet. The M.Tech in IoT is a 2 year programme which is specialized curriculum that aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the Internet of Things’. This programme covers all you need to know about Systems Design Engineering, Wireless Sensor Protocol Programming, IoT Language and Technology, and more. M.tech in IoT will provide the latest technology experience to the students by collaborating with various organizations like INTEL, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS etc.In addition to the course, curriculum students will also work on the platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, TI Launchpad, Node MCU, IoT modules, PIC, etc.

Aerospace is a branch of engineering that involves the science, design, and manufacturing of Aircrafts, Rockets and Spacecraft. The world of Aerospace engineering today is involved in the design of reusable spacecraft and rockets for space exploration, hypersonic transport aircraft for faster travel, drones of multidisciplinary applications including military applications, glide and cruise capable hypersonic missiles, stealthy reconnaissance and fighter aircrafts, and many more. The B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering program is meant to create industry-ready professionals by training students on varied technical fields of aerospace engineering involving design, analysis, maintenance, process engineering, and manufacturing of aircrafts, rockets, missiles, spacecraft, helicopters satellites and drones.

Computer Science offers the students a platform to explore the practical and theoretical knowledge of computation, program design, programming, computer hardware and software as well as integrates with other fields of science and engineering. Food industry is a major industry which requires highly skilled professionals to ensure the food quality, safety and worldwide management. The aim of this course is to provide in-depth study of various areas related to food technology that will enable the students to understand food composition, their nutritional, microbiological, processing and organoleptic aspects. This program also upskills the students in the processing techniques by in hand training in food industries. They are also taught about the importance of food plant sanitation, international and national food laws and regulations applicable in food industry.

B.A. (Hons.) English with research is an undergraduate programme in English Literature. The programme teaches about English Language and Literature and the way it has developed into its modern form along with highlighting varied aspects of English society through its genres like Drama, Poetry, Novel, etc.

The Programme is intended for the students who have a strong interest in English Language and Literature and who show promise in the study of either or both. Students with research inclination receive an intensive educational experience with respect to the courses offered. The student learns to critically analyze and debate on a variety of texts, and acquires knowledge of literary movements, periods and critical approaches. B.Tech ECE with VLSI & Embedded system is a 4 year program offered at Uttaranchal University aims to provide the knowledge and skills in VLSI design methodology and embedded system. The curriculum covers algorithms, System Architecture Verification Techniques, Component requirement for Hardware Model, substantial Designs, and Synthesis & Simulation for VLSI system. The programme also covers thrust areas like Real Time application of VLSI & Embedded Systems, Advanced Microcontrollers, Advanced Embedded System Design, and System on Chip. Apart from the curriculum, the teaching pedagogical activities include industrial visits, seminars, practice on various simulation tools like, workshops on new technologies, and guest lecturers.

Microbiology, a branch of medicine and is a study of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. These bacteria can cause various diseases in human beings. B.Sc. Medical Microbiology provides students with the knowledge of microbial pathogenesis, epidemiology, disease pathology, and immunology. The programme trains aspirants to perform effective treatment on infectious diseases and make certain clinical applications of microbes for the improvement of health. Along with the study of pathology, biochemistry, and immunology, students will also learn about the human immune system and the immune response to a variety of infectious microbes.

A person who has completed D.Pharm. can be employed as a registered pharmacist in a community pharmacy (wholesale or retail-medical store/chemists & druggists) or hospital pharmacy. It is the minimum qualification to practice the pharmacy profession, therefore, it is mandatory that all dispensing of prescription medicines has to be done under the supervision of a pharmacist only.
