Food industry is a major industry which requires highly skilled professionals to ensure the food quality, safety and worldwide management. The aim of this course is to provide in-depth study of various areas related to food technology that will enable the students to understand food composition, their nutritional, microbiological, processing and organoleptic aspects. This program also upskills the students in the processing techniques by in hand training in food industries. They are also taught about the importance of food plant sanitation, international and national food laws and regulations applicable in food industry.

Engines, Refrigeration Plants, Air-Conditioning System, Cold Storage Units, Propulsion Systems.

The scope of business analytics in management studies has also expanded from being a standalone subject to a multi-disciplinary domain that involves multi-faceted paradigms, including quantitative, qualitative and decision-making sciences. Owing to the versatility of Business Analytics as the fusion of data analytics, advanced mathematics and information management skills, Uttaranchal University is offering MBA- Business Analytics programme. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering program offers some of the important courses in the field of Mechanics, Materials, Manufacturing, Design, and Thermal and so on. B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics is a three year Honors Program. The thrust of this Program is to impart extensive knowledge of Physics, both in theoretical and practical spheres. The Programme involves Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Optics, Heat & Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Atomic, Nuclear & Particle Physics and Lasers & Instrumentation and Electronics. Besides these, the students will also study the generic subjects like English, Mathematics and Computer Application.

M.Sc. in Plant Pathology trains the students in the identification of the symptoms of different plant diseases, disease management and treatment through chemicals.
