Psychology is the study of human behaviour. It explores what humans need to develop and thrive. This major looks at psychology within the context of our society, where we live and work.

An understanding of psychology is useful for a wide range of careers – including career and employment counselling, community development, management, marketing and communications, politics, public health promotion, or training and development. The Psychology major can also provide the foundation for the postgraduate studies required for registration as a psychologist.

The Microbiology major prepares you for careers in this interesting and dynamic field.

Microbiology is the study of living organisms and infectious agents that can’t be seen by the naked eye. You explore the role of microorganisms across many areas – human health, industry, agriculture and the environment.

You develop the skills for careers in a wide variety of settings in industry, research or government organisations. Graduates of the Microbiology major could also be involved with the industries that produce antibiotics, foods and drinks, or alternative fuels.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration provides an entry point for students who don’t want to enrol in a full Master of Business Administration (MBA) or who need added flexibility.
