This degree is the only New Zealand horticultural degree fully co-designed and created in collaboration with industry. The Bachelor of Horticultural Science is focused on helping you become a horticulture graduate who can hit the ground running. It will give you the relevant, contemporary skills that industry seek.

Massey University’s Postgraduate Diploma in Science and Technology (Conservation Biology) gives you the opportunity to join the pathway to in-depth research at a master's level. The qualification consists of 90 credits of taught courses and 30 credits of research.

The qualification gives you the opportunity to show your analytical thinking and high-level research capability.

The Graduate Diploma in Arts (Geography) will give you the equivalent of an undergraduate major in geography without having to complete a second bachelor’s degree.

A Massey Graduate Diploma in Arts (Geography) is a bridging tool for graduates in other subjects to get the equivalent of a major in geography. You can then go on to postgraduate studies in geography if you wish.

With Massey's Master of Engineering, you will develop a more in-depth understanding of an area of your choice, within the field of mechatronics.

The Master of Engineering Studies (Mechatronics) you will gain advanced knowledge in research methods, mechatronics and robotics, as well as additive manufacturing and system design and integrations. This is through the taught element of the qualification. You will then have the opportunity to develop these further in a postgraduate research project.

With Massey’s Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Geography) you'll become a thoughtful and knowledgeable local and global citizen. You’ll develop important career skills in research and spatial analysis. You’ll also learn how to undertake evidence-based examination of the pressing issues facing New Zealand and the world today.

The Bachelor of Aviation Management (BAvMan) is a dedicated aviation qualification which will introduce you to various aspects of the aviation industry. If you have a passion for aviation, you enjoy working with other people and are interested in working towards a management role in a global business, then this degree is for you.

You will gain an understanding of the human factors in aviation, airline strategic management and airport operational management.

This degree is suitable if you are wanting to enter the aviation industry. If you already work in the industry, the qualification also provides a route to enhance your skills and knowledge to add further value to your career portfolio.

In this fast and changing society, it is important to develop versatile and transferable skills that can open many career pathways. English offers exciting and challenging courses to extend your knowledge of literary and media texts and expressive arts. Courses taught in the English programme cover a wide spectrum of topics. These include British, American, New Zealand, and postcolonial literature. You will also have the choice of courses in drama, creative writing, speaking, media studies, film, and gender issues. All of these courses are concerned with the fundamental skills of interpretation and expression.

Stage one of the BA Geography includes both human and physical geography.

• Human geography looks at how social processes affect space, place and landscape.
•  Physical geography looks at how natural landscapes take shape and change.

You will gain a solid foundation for understanding our world as the product of a combination of social and natural processes. More advanced courses expand on the themes established at stage one. You can specialise in human geography, or include more advanced geospatial and physical geography courses as well.

This unique degree is for those who love being creative, writing and the performing arts, but also want to discover how the media shape our identities and our world.

In this unique composite major, you’ll study courses in both media studies and expressive arts. You’ll blend theory with creative practice.

Expressive arts is unique in New Zealand and was created in response to student demand. You’ll get to study a combination of the three creative discipline areas of theatre, creative writing, or digital media production.

In the media studies part of your study, you will learn about the production, consumption and content of media and their social, cultural, political and economic implications.

You will learn how decisions are made on what is communicated, how media forms and industry structures shape those messages, and how this impacts our lives and understanding of the world.
