What will you learn?
The Bachelor of Accountancy will give you the skills needed to analyze accounting and business problems. You will gain a solid foundation in accounting and finance. Your study has a solid foundation of compulsory courses, but it also provides some flexibility to choose courses for yourself.

The BAcc degree will give you an understanding of the legal and regulatory environments. You'll learn to identify and evaluate ethical dilemmas and provide logical ways to resolve them. You’ll learn how best to communicate and use financial information to support business decisions.

The Master of Engineering Studies (Mechatronics) is part of the most well-established offering of mechatronics within New Zealand. Massey staff have many years work experience in these areas. With the Master of Engineering Studies (Mechatronics) you will gain advanced knowledge in research methods, mechatronics and robotics, as well as additive manufacturing and system design and integrations. This is through the taught element of the qualification. You will then have the opportunity to develop these further in a postgraduate research project.

A Massey Graduate Diploma in Arts (Classical Studies) is a way for graduates in other subjects to get the equivalent of a major in classical studies.

With a Diploma in Arts (Creative Writing) you will examine inspiring creative works and explore your personal creative approach through poetry, life writing, scriptwriting, and fiction.

This unique degree is for those who love being creative, writing and the performing arts, but also want to discover how the media shape our identities and our world.

In this unique composite major, you’ll study courses in both media studies and expressive arts. You’ll blend theory with creative practice.

Expressive arts is unique in New Zealand and was created in response to student demand. You’ll get to study a combination of the three creative discipline areas of theatre, creative writing, or digital media production.

In the media studies part of your study, you will learn about the production, consumption and content of media and their social, cultural, political and economic implications.

You will learn how decisions are made on what is communicated, how media forms and industry structures shape those messages, and how this impacts our lives and understanding of the world.

The study of economics can help to improve our decision making. Economics offers a way of thinking about the world that enables us to make the best of what we have yet still improve on it.

Politics is life, and like life, politics is a struggle. The study of politics equips you with the concepts, theories and facts necessary to make sense of that struggle. Politics is about us: how we make decisions in society and who gets what, when and how. Politics is also concerned with the conflict of ideas and values, not only at the level of the local community or the nation but also internationally. More specifically, it has to do with who governs and how and why decisions that affect all of us (such as how much students pay to study at a university) are made.
