Our BA (Hons) Montessori Early Childhood Studies degree is the right course for you if you’re interested in working in a Montessori and early years context. This first of its kind, this course will develop your knowledge, enabling you to become a competent Montessori teacher.

You’ll explore the Montessori method of education, focussing on the three elements of the Montessori Dynamic triangle: the child, the environment and the teacher. Our facilities at ARU include a CAD/CAM centre, industrial-scale CNC milling machine, CNC lathe, rapid prototyping machine, scanning electronic microscope, Instron bi-axial fatigue-testing machine, tensile-testing machine, material-preparation facilities, welding equipment and electronic testing and measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generating and testing facilities.

Like our Mechanical Engineering BEng course, our MEng is accredited by both the IMechE and IET, meaning it's been approved by a professional body as meeting their level of requirements.

As a BSc (Hons) Building Surveying student at ARU, you’ll find yourself working independently and as part of larger built environment teams. This helps you understand where building surveyors ‘fit in’, and it’s great preparation for your future career.

Together, you’ll go on site visits, attend talks given by professional experts, and learn how to manage projects. This puts you in a strong position for employment in this highly interesting and varied field.
