This programme combines Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, by introducing you to the design, implementation and maintenance of software and hardware components of modern computing systems as well as networks of intelligent devices.

The course content reflects the importance of developments in the area of computer systems engineering, by providing a strong foundation in science, technology and application development, principles, and the development of practical skills in key areas needed by the industry.

Our BA Television and Digital Production has been developed with industry experts to give you one of the most practical and career-focused television production degrees in the UK. Taught in combination with direct, remote and streamed access to our state-of-the-art television studio, industry standard Avid editing suites and top of the range equipment, you’ll get to grips with everything you need to know about broadcasting, streaming, and video on demand. You’ll also learn to write scripts and develop formats as you get hands-on experience of designing a range of programmes, from sitcoms, dramas and documentaries to game shows, children’s television, chat shows and everything in between.

You’ll get the support you need to succeed in your studies and join the next generation of studio and location directors, producers, camera operators, sound and lighting technicians, editors, researchers and production managers. Delivering project management skills

During your course you’ll study project management using software applications. You’ll gain the knowledge and capability to use these tools in a dynamic environment. You’ll learn to use Microsoft Project, SAP, and a host of other software that helps you to manage and control projects.

This in-depth, technical and practical course is designed specifically for those students who have studied engineering at university level and are looking to develop an advanced mastery of the subject.

MA Graphic Design explores the ever-changing landscape of graphic design to build critical understanding, individual design thinking processes, practical experience and insightful design solutions. The course offers areas of specialism in typography, branding, editorial and book design, social enterprise and digital interactive experiences.

We take a problem-solving approach to graphic design to explore contemporary practice through design thinking, insight and co-design processes, prototyping ideas, and building expert collaborative networks with external partners.
