You will learn the principles of the English legal system, and gain reflection through social, political, economic, ethical and historical perspectives. BA Honours Interior Design

Interior design courses are rapidly growing in demand. Interior design is a vital part of our everyday lives, from home and the work place, shops and restaurants to hotels, museums and other public buildings. Our course aims to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills you’ll need to start your career in interior design. You’ll learn all about how to design successful, commercially focussed interiors and what is meant by ‘placemaking’, In doing so, you'll explore the diverse interdisciplinary nature of the subject.

You enrol on a four-year course, which includes the one-year foundation course. If you complete this year successfully you progress directly onto our three-year media degree courses listed below. BA Games Design

On this hands on course, you'll be making games with a mix of digital and paper prototyping and planning from week one. You’ll gain hands-on experience that will help you build your portfolio that will set you up for a successful career in a range of creative industries.

The games industry is complex, diverse and spans a variety of old and new technologies from print to computer software to 3D printed game pieces. This BA gives you the transferable skills and knowledge you need to become a successful games designer in this fast-changing industry.

Microbiology is the study of the millions of micro-organisms with which we share our world, dealing with those that cause disease and making use of those of benefit to us. It's a fascinating subject as identifying dangerous microbes, stopping their spread and treating their effects is vital and often life-saving work. This is a particularly pertinent subject to consider studying in light of the global pandemic and prospective diseases and zoonosis that are increasingly prevalent.

This course has a strong practical element, with an emphasis on developing the skills needed in a laboratory and gaining hands-on experience of diagnostic techniques. On the course you will develop your individual practice and approach to the design of interior spaces and places.

As public, political and commercial concern grows with the future suitability and sustainability of our urban environments, the need for inspired and innovative leadership in the re-imagining, re-use and transformation of our existing buildings and interiors becomes ever more urgent. This course is structured to allow you to identify and explore your own particular interests within interiors, enabling you to investigate examples of conceptual and spatial manifestation and application.

You will generate propositions to test, demonstrate and explain your approach, and to develop in-depth strategies by which your ideas and proposals can be implemented.
