Our BA Photography course will help you make the most of your creative vision and encourage you to develop your own personal approach.

You will be given the tools, opportunities and inspiration to explore the world we live in now, investigating photography’s role in the communication of ideas, opinion, comment, reportage, analysis and meaning through your own work and through debate. You can focus on editorial photography, portraiture, studio and fashion photography for magazines, books, exhibitions and new media, as well as carry out more investigative, reflective and conceptual work.

Build your photography skills
Online demonstrations will introduce you to a number of technical skills, including both traditional and digital processes. At the end of your degree, you will the get a chance to show your work in either a dedicated exhibition in central London, or as a virtual exhibition online.

Our flexible course lets you tailor your studies to gain the skills, project experience and professional networks you need to achieve your engineering career ambitions in the field of robotics – and beyond. With the option to study our robotics course over a three-year (BEng) or four-year (MEng) period, you’ll gain the technical knowledge and project experience that will give you a competitive edge as a robotics engineer.

You’ll explore all aspects of engineering to get a broad understanding of robotics, design, electronics, mechatronics and networking solutions. Using the latest hardware and software, including LabVIEW, SolidWorks and STEP-7, you’ll also learn to develop systems that control physical motion – such as the ones you’ll find in robotic applications and industrial automation.

Build your robotics engineering skills
You’ll have the flexibility to tailor your studies to complement your personal interests and career ambitions. From year two, you’ll have the option to carry on with your BEng Robotics or transfer to a design engineering or mechatronics programme.

BA Games Design

On this hands on course, you'll be making games with a mix of digital and paper prototyping and planning from week one. You’ll gain hands-on experience that will help you build your portfolio that will set you up for a successful career in a range of creative industries.

With the social work sector expanding rapidly, there’s never been a better time to develop your communication, resilience and organisation skills to enter a career that will make a positive impact on some of society’s most vulnerable people.

Our social work degree – which is fully accredited by the Social Work England (SWE) – has been designed and revised to give you the knowledge and professional skills to succeed in the field of social work. Through a mix of teaching sessions, interactive workshops and e-learning resources, you’ll familiarise yourself with the most current policies and practices, and build the skills and knowledge to collaborate confidently and effectively with a range of service providers, service users and their carers.

Covering everything from human behaviour and molecular neurobiology to psychiatric disorders and neurogenetics, our BSc Neuroscience gives you the specialist skillset to start your career.

Even in eventualities where we are unable to be in the laboratory or classroom together, we aim to use virtual tools to help you develop key practical skills.

You’ll build up a range of skills by examining theoretical and scientific approaches to criminology, human behaviour, and psychology. You’ll also gain understanding of the psychological issues associated with criminal behaviour and the treatment of people who have committed criminal offences.

During your degree, you’ll take part in work placements with forensic psychologists, police forces, prisons and hospitals so you can build up a portfolio of professional experience.
