MA Graphic Design explores the ever-changing landscape of graphic design to build critical understanding, individual design thinking processes, practical experience and insightful design solutions. The course offers areas of specialism in typography, branding, editorial and book design, social enterprise and digital interactive experiences.

We take a problem-solving approach to graphic design to explore contemporary practice through design thinking, insight and co-design processes, prototyping ideas, and building expert collaborative networks with external partners.

How you’ll practice your skills

• One of the ways you’ll apply all the learned skills is by undertaking an individual project. All supervisory sessions will be held online during the 2020/21 academic year and you will not be required to attend face to face meetings.

You’ll work in our Financial Markets Lab, where you’ll have industry standard access to Bloomberg and Datastream financial software. You’ll also have access to cutting-edge business resources including the Chartered Management Institute’s Management Direct Resource Hub.

You'll use London stock exchange data for listed companies in order to form portfolios. You'll calculate its expected return, comparing with the market including the identification of over and under priced companies.You will develop key business skills, knowledge and experience in order to excel in a management career. • You’ll build your skills in a live financial environment. You’ll also have real-time news updates which show the reflection of stock prices and how they are influenced, as well as identifying efficient markets.

To study criminology is to embark on a fascinating journey exploring the problem of crime. Learn about its causes and consequences, and investigating how society does and should respond to criminal behaviour in all its forms.
This degree provides an in-depth exploration of crime, criminals, victims and interaction with the Criminal Justice System. It's been designed for those who have an interest in how society responds to deviant behaviour and challenges the concept of social deviancy.

You'll focus on the theoretical concepts and approaches in criminology and their application to contemporary life through studying the impact of social divisions in minorities based on their experiences, interpretations, and representations of crime and criminal justice.

You'll be taught by staff currently involved in researching key issues related to crime and justice, and the findings of their research will influence your learning and research skills. As such, you'll learn to understand the factors that influence criminological research, policy and practice, and learn the fundamental skills of research and analysis.

This course is ideal if you're interested in how society responds to criminal behaviour and the challenges that this provides. Our course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) which means you'll gain Graduate Basis of Chartered Membership once you successfully complete this master's course.

This conversion course is for graduates intending to pursue a career in psychology who wish to acquire the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society. You may have a degree in another subject but wish to either change career or pursue your interest in psychology in more depth. Students are introduced to the broad range of theoretical and methodological approaches to psychology and are encouraged to develop a critical approach to studies, evaluating theory and evidence accordingly.

By the end of this course, you will be able to perform quantitative and qualitative data analyses and use statistical software to analyse complex data. You will design, implement, analyse and communicate independent and group project work to an advanced level culminating in a dissertation on an agreed topic.
