How you’ll practice your skills

• One of the ways you’ll apply all the learned skills is by undertaking an individual project. It’ll give you the chance to problem-solve, just like you would in a place of work. All supervisory sessions will be held online during the 2020/21 academic year and you will not be required to attend face to face meetings.

Our course is run in collaboration with the College of Animal Welfare, which means you’ll be taught by one of the UK's largest veterinary nurse training providers.

You’ll spend 50% of your study time gaining valuable professional experience and putting theory into practice at a veterinary practice.

Once you’ve finished your course, you’ll be able to apply to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse with full accreditation from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
