Your English with Creative Writing BA (Hons) will enable you to develop your skills in analysing and creating literature. For this English with Economics BA (Hons) degree, you will study a broad range of literature from 1550 to the present day, and focus on literary forms and how they have changed over time. In the Economics minor you will complement your study of English with an understanding of the structures that influence the cultures and societies that produce literature – as well as keep up quantitative skills, ensuring that you will be one of the most well-rounded graduates in the job market.

The study of Art History gives you the opportunity to see and interpret moments in history through their architecture and material culture. The central aim of the Politics & International Relations minor is to enable you to understand and analyse the relationship between the individual and the state, and the sources of state authority and forms of government.

The Law with Politics & International Relations LLB (Hons) is a Qualifying Law Degree, covering all of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board required areas of study to permit progression onto the professional training courses for qualification as a solicitor or barrister.

The Art History with Creative Writing BA (Hons) will allow you to study the full range of artistic expression and hone your writing skills. The programme combines cultural surveys with more intense, media-specific subjects including architecture, landscape and painting. Through your Creative Writing minor, you’ll develop the tools to approach a broad range of literary forms from a creative and critical perspective, from short fiction to immersive journalism, poetry, and scriptwriting.
