You will work in a team of professional engineers and scientists to apply your knowledge to an industrial problem defined by your host company. Your technical skills will be assessed through an industrial design project and you complete selected chemical engineering topics by distance learning.

On return to University in your fourth year, you study a selection of topics that are tailored to further develop the technical expertise you gain on your placement.

This three-year Contemporary and Popular Music degree focuses on a range of musics and approaches, from acoustic singer-songwriting to experimental electronic forms, and from ethnomusicology to cultural theory. We've designed this MSc Bioinformatics for students from both biological science and computational backgrounds. Prior experience with computer programming is not needed. We welcome applications from those with mathematical, engineering or other scientific backgrounds.
