The AA pathway in Anthropology is for students who want to pursue a bachelor's degree in anthropology or a related field. Anthropology is the study of humans, past and present. The computer information systems AA pathway degree is ideal for students who want to pursue a four-year degree in computer and information sciences and work in business or related fields.

Careers include finance analysts, actuaries, statisticians, economists, and positions related to designing, testing and implementing computer programs in various segments of business and industry, management, operations, and business planning.

The Culinary and Dietetic Management AS degree at Hillsborough Community College offers student the education, training, and experience to competently perform the responsibilities of a dietary manager and has proven this by passing the nationally recognized CDM Credentialing Exam and fulfilling the requirements needed to maintain certified status. This program has both classroom and field experience components. The field experience component consists of 2 practicums of 75 hours each, totaling 150 hours of field experience. Each field experience has a qualified preceptor on site. Graduates are eligible to apply for the CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) Credentialing Exam and ANFP Professional membership.

The architectural design and construction technology AS degree lays a strong foundation for a career as a construction planner, architectural assistant or architectural engineer. The coursework also prepares you to pass the contractor's exam.

This program will prepare students for a position as a construction planner or as an assistant to an architect or an architectural engineer in the planning and designing of structures, using construction materials and working with contracts and specifications. If students pass the contractor’s exam, they may become self-employed as contractors. The course work in this program focuses on using the latest technology to solve problems faced by the architect, the engineer and building contractor as they apply to the planning and construction of buildings.

This pathway is for students who want to pursue a four-year degree in Finance, which includes careers in business and management in diverse organizations.

Please note only 60 of these credits are needed for AA degree completion. For each pathway, IDS 2891 is a degree requirement, and for most of the pathways, SLS 1106 is required for first-time-in-college students.  CGS 2100 may be able to be tested out for no credit. The digital media multimedia technology developer AS degree teaches you how to design and produce digital projects with multimedia hardware and software. Prepare for jobs such as desktop publisher, production designer, electronic publisher, illustrator, multimedia specialist, multimedia presentation developer, interface designer, computer graphic designer, and project manager.

Sonography is a medical specialty that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the human body. This program focuses on abdomen-extended, obstetrics and gynecology.  Physicians analyze these images to aid in diagnosis.

The diagnostic medical sonography AS degree prepares you to take the national registry examination to become a certified sonographer who provides imaging services under the supervision of a physician.

Graduates of this AS degree program are granted admission into the health sciences Bachelor's degree program at the University of North Florida.

The computer engineering technology AS degree program prepares you for an entry-level position as a computer technician. The coursework focuses on the diagnosis and repair of hardware and software in micro, mini and mainframe computers. With minimal additional specialized training, you may become a field or in-house shop technician.
