The Master of Music in Jazz Performance program prepares students to improve as a jazz performer and improviser. The curriculum includes:

• Private jazz instruction
• Small and large ensembles
• Improvisation
• Other traditional academic music courses such as research, history and literature, etc.

Students are required to perform at least one graduate jazz recital.
