Bioresource Research
BioResource Research (BRR) is an interdisciplinary biosciences major centered around student research. Students take biosciences core courses, complete an option (bioscience/agriculture/natural resource specialization) and do a research project of their choice with a faculty mentor.

Geography and geospatial science provide approaches and tools to address pressing issues affecting communities, nations and the planet. At OSU students combine geography — the study of human and Earth system processes in space and time — and geospatial science — the collection, analysis, and presentation of spatial data — to analyze and interpret change in the environment and human society. The program has three areas of excellence: geospatial analysis and modeling, dynamic Earth processes, and global change risk and resilience. Graduates work in government, industry, and non-governmental organizations, addressing climate change, environmental hazards, natural resources, and their human dimensions. Marine Resource Management (MRM) is a science-based, interdisciplinary master's program based in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Astmospheric Science (CEOAS). The program provides students with the multidisciplinary training necessary to function confidently and effectively in professional resource management positions. Marine and coastal issues are technically and politically complex, involving many interests, perspectives and stakeholders. To deal effectively with these issues, marine resource managers need a broad-based background in both physical and social sciences. Electrical and Computer Engineering

The field of electrical and computer engineering is revolutionizing technology and impacting diverse areas such as agriculture, environmental monitoring, forestry, health care, renewable energy and robotics. The ECE curriculum includes hand-on learning in which students get to apply their knowledge of electrical and computer engineering to create their own robot. In an introductory class, students build a TekBot and as they progress through the program they add more functions to their robot.
