The Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science major offers you the opportunity to pursue multiple areas of study in the humanities and social sciences. The major gives you the ability to combine two academic areas into one flexible and comprehensive Bachelor of Arts degree, creating a truly multidisciplinary education.

The Department of History at Rowan University delivers high-quality instruction and advising to both undergraduate and graduate students. Our Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering gives engineering professionals the opportunity to expand their skill sets in highly specialized areas of interest. Every course in the program is a lab course, which provides an applied, hands-on education to build the knowledge and training needed to contribute to the engineering field. Specializations and focus areas provide the opportunity to study a specific topic in the electrical and computer industry.

Students may choose between a thesis track and a coursework track or elect to work on a project which may count toward a coursework track degree. In order to be eligible for a Research Fellowship, students must select the thesis track.

The Management Information Systems (MIS) program will teach you how to harness cutting-edge information technology to analyze business problems and create solutions.

Our MIS students are extraordinarily well-prepared for work in the information systems field. MIS students are expected to have three areas of distinct competency: business knowledge, technical skills and interpersonal skills.

The Rowan University Chemical Engineering Program is a student-centered, primarily undergraduate program that incorporates leading-edge educational methods and technology with engineering practice. The field of geography is one of the most exciting and dynamic disciplines at Rowan University. Far more than memorizing capital cities and place names on a map, geography is an engaging field that has a wide diversity of specializations that provide outstanding preparation for high-demand and rewarding careers in environmental management, spatial analysis and sustainability. The common themes that unite all geographers are the scientific exploration of the earth and spatial analysis. One branch of geography focuses on people (human geography) and the other branch focuses on the environment (physical geography). There are multiple sub-disciplines within the field that cover everything from geology and climatology to demography and planning.
