Technology has become inseparable from an organization’s operations, including applying digital strategies to leverage data, collaborating in the virtual marketplace, and leveraging established and emerging technologies. The Bachelor of Science in Information Technologies gives students the opportunity to combine technical abilities, business acumen, people skills, and a keen problem-solving mindset to help organizations large and small leverage new technologies for innovating practices, products, and processes. Aligned to the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and informed by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) framework for information technology baccalaureate degree programs, this degree will prepare students for current IT work and provide the skills and dispositions to ready themselves and their organizations for the rapid evolution of future technologies. Students will learn the fundamental information technologies, systems, data management methods, and computational thinking strategies necessary to support organizational decision-making and recommend effective system design and maintenance solutions. They will also learn to operate in an ever-changing work environment where communication, collaboration, and the drive to proactively identify and solve problems are markers of success. Learning through hands-on real world problems, students in this degree program will demonstrate the necessary skills that will allow them to grow and adapt within the field of information technology.

The Pure Mathematics Concentration gives students the mathematical skills and theory to work with the conceptual aspects of mathematics that are studied for their intellectual challenge and are not associated with direct applications.  

By earning your degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Pure Mathematics you’ll learn conceptual mathematical skills while completing theory-based coursework. This type of concentration is often studied for intellectual challenge as opposed to real world application. This concentration also qualifies as appropriate preparation for graduate programs in mathematics.

 Analyzes effective managerial processes including the initiation, planning, execution and successful completion of a project. You’ll cover topics including project scope, timing, cost, quality, risk, resources, communications and best practices to manage stakeholder expectations. You’ll may also take a course that helps prepare you for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® exam – enhancing your marketability in the workforce.

The Accounting/Finance degree offers students the course work they need to qualify for careers in the accounting or finance professions. The degree prepares graduates for meaningful employment in accounting, banking, corporate finance, insurance, investments and personal finance.

Rooted in a global perspective, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Business will provide you with a broad foundation in hospitality, sustainability, leadership and operations.

The hospitality world is always changing, especially now, and this concentration will prepare you to enter an always-evolving industry. This concentration incorporates knowledge regarding the planet, people, profit, ethics and equity of the hospitality world. In this concentration, you will learn from faculty experts who bring with them specialized knowledge and experience across various sectors of the industry. You will also have opportunities to expand your network through experiential learning and real-world client engagements.

The curriculum for this program will help you master the technical foundations of the industry while developing essential leadership and management skills.

The MBA concentration in Marketing prepares students for a career in the fast-paced and ever-evolving field of marketing. This concentration provides students with the opportunity to explore market research, advertising, branding, and consumer behavior through various lenses. Students learn how to translate knowledge gained into actionable strategies and implementations within the marketing field.

Explores key advertising, branding and communications strategies. You’ll learn how to analyze consumer behavior, develop data-driven marketing objectives and manage promotional campaigns that inspire action. This specialized program can help prepare you for a variety of leadership roles including brand management, product management, public relations, advertising and sales management.

The Sport Management Concentration is built on the foundation of the Masters Core Curriculum with added emphasis on the application of Sport Marketing, Analytics, and Partnerships.
 
Focuses on critical business concepts and how they relate to various aspects of the sport industry. You’ll learn the ins and outs of sport licensing and strategic alliances, marketing and media and business analytics. Upon graduating, you’ll have a better understanding of the industry, from teams, agencies and events to analytics, marketing, manufacturing, and intercollegiate and scholastic sports.

Analyze financial data using quantitative and qualitative techniques and information technology skills for effective problem solving and decision-making

Exposes students to the contemporary challenges of capital markets, investments and corporate finance. You'll examine topics related to commercial banking, short-term financing, financial risk management and portfolio structure. Upon graduating, you’ll be prepared for a number of cross-industry career tracks, including commercial and investment banking, financial analysis and management analysis.

The BA in English with a concentration in Literature is designed for students interested in concentrated literary study, secondary education majors and other students seeking education-related careers such as college teaching or instructional design. In this concentration, students will immerse themselves and become well-versed in literature from multiple time periods and genres.
