The International Year program is designed especially for international students. Psychology
Psychology is the study of mental processes and behavior. As psychology majors (designated as a pre-major), students learn about many diverse concepts including perception, cognition, emotion and personality. Other concepts include behavior, interpersonal relationships and the individual and collective unconscious. Coursework involves the application of learned concepts to spheres of human activity. Available courses include:

The Psychology major is available either as a Bachelor of Arts degree or as a Bachelor of Science degree. The Bachelor of Arts degree plan emphasizes the study of humanities in Psychology, while the Bachelor of Science degree plan has a greater emphasis in science and mathematics.

The Physics major is the study of matter, energy, force and motion and the way in which they relate to one another. It provides a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for graduate studies or careers in technology, medicine, education, law, finance, industry and other professions. • Statistical and Thermal Physics

Students can pursue either a BS or BA in Physics. The Bachelor of Science in Physics prepares students for graduate studies or careers in technology, medicine, education, law, finance, industry, and other professions. The Bachelor of Arts in Physics provides a traditional liberal arts education with a solid set of core courses in physics. Physics is also offered as a secondary major or minor for students who are pursuing a different field of study.

Mathematics
The Mathematics major involves a variety of mathematical areas, both traditional and contemporary. Math involves learning the terms, methods and formulae and applying the mathematics to solve theoretical and practical problems. Science Research Fellows
Science Research Fellows is a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary major (BS) that provides students with an academic foundation for successful research careers in:

Greek
Greek program is in the Classics Department. Students with a Greek major study texts taught in their original language, grammar and Greek culture. Coursework also includes the study of philosophy, religion and history as well as archaeology and art associated with the Greek language.  Available courses include:

• Seminar in New Testament Greek

A Greek major is ideal for students wishing to pursue further studies in law or seminary.  Many of our graduates pursue teaching careers or graduate studies.

Professional Writing and Rhetoric

The Professional Writing and Rhetoric (PWR) major provides students numerous opportunities to develop the writing, research, editing, and design expertise needed to excel in careers as copywriters, editors, screenwriters, public relations specialists, marketing coordinators, technical writers, attorneys, social media writers, non-profit writers, and other professional writing positions. Chemistry
The Chemistry department is one of the select programs nationwide that offers a B.S. that is accredited by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and is authorized to offer the certified bachelor's degree in chemistry. The Chemistry Department offers four different Chemistry degree plans in order to provide curriculum to the widest possible range of student career goals. Available courses include:

The Chemistry department offers three different Bachelor of Science degrees and one Bachelor of Arts. Students spend time in the classroom as well as in state-of-the art laboratories in the Baylor Sciences Building, our half-million square foot sciences facility.

Environmental Science
The Environmental Science major combines laboratory and field work, internships and classroom study. This program is for students interested in a variety of fields including water resources and air quality, wildlife management and biodiversity conservation, and environmental toxicology and chemistry. The Business Fellows program provides a unique opportunity to blend a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with other areas of study. The flexibility of the degree plan gives students the opportunity to pick up another major within the business school, a minor or major in a different school of study, or study abroad. Business Fellows students build their own major, and along with it, their own career path. Each student is assigned a faculty adviser who helps the student map out their post-graduation goals and plans, whether it's a specific career or graduate school.
