Communication Specialist
The Communication Specialist major is a combination of studies in digital media and speech communication. This program of study blends a leadership/management/organizational communication focus with the development of expertise in digital media production. This major is appropriate for students with a wide array of career aspirations but is most appropriate for those intending to take advantage of communication expertise in a corporate career track. Courses available include:

The Arabic and Middle East Studies major includes foreign language courses and those highlighting Middle East politics and culture. The importance of the Middle East in world affairs has grown in the past decade, and so has the need for workers who are trained in Arabic language and culture. Courses include:

• Quranic Arabic and Related Texts
• Media and Popular Culture in the Arabic-Speaking World
• Spoken Arabic
• Classical Arabic Texts
• Governments and Politics of the Middle East

Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (M.S.E.C.E.) program. The M.S.E.C.E. is a 30 semester-hour graduate program comprising 24 hours of graduate course work and a 6-hour research-oriented thesis. Prospective students are invited to review the research project areas in which our faculty and students are active.

German

Education - Middle Grade Mathematics
The Middle Grades Education Program is ideal for students who are eager to work with growing minds and daily changes. When teaching middle grades students, who are discovering who they are and what they want to do with their lives, there is rarely a dull moment in the classroom. The program prepares highly qualified teachers that will earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with a specific subject in 4-8 certification. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.

The Accounting major (designated as a pre-major) consists of a strong technical foundation in financial accounting. Nutrition Sciences is the study of food its components, and how the body handles food substances. International Studies is an interdisciplinary major administered by the Department of Political Science. Mathematics is in the Bachelor of Science degree program as well as in the Bachelor of Arts degree program. The BS in Mathematics curriculum provides the student with a basic background in mathematics.  It allows a student to place some emphasis on an area of mathematics that is related to engineering, the biological, physical, or social sciences. The BA in Mathematics curriculum provides the student with a basic background in mathematics in the context of a liberal arts education.
