The International Year program is designed especially for international students. Public Health
Public Health program is a nationally accredited degree program. The program prepares students to promote healthy lifestyles and enhance quality of life for individuals and communities. Public Health educators work in a variety of work settings including nonprofit community health organizations, public health agencies, work site and health promotion programs and schools and voluntary health agencies (American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, etc).  Available courses include:

The Statistics program is designed to provide a balance between statistical theory and applications of statistical methods. Journalism
The Department of Journalism, Public Relations and New Media educates students in writing, editing, photography and public relations for written and graphic communication. There are three sequences (tracks) available. Each sequence maintains the same required Journalism Core and highlights different areas within the field of journalism.

The News-Editorial sequence focuses on developing reporting, writing and editing skills. The Public Relations sequence emphasizes the importance of branding and public image. The New Media sequence includes both advertising skills (copywriting, research design and media planning) and photojournalism that focuses more on the visual components of journalism. The Management major helps students enhance communication and problem solving skills.  It is a pre-major.  The major teaches the activities and functions of a business. It also builds leaders adept in planning, organizing, staffing and leading an organization.  Available courses include:

Geology
Geology is the science that deals with the Earth's physical structure and substance, its history and the processes that act on it. The Geology major focuses on a wide variety of topics that include materials of the Earth (minerals and rocks) and processes that affect them, as well as the evolution of life and its relationship to Earth materials and processes. These processes can include the formation of rocks, mountains and volcanoes, wind and water.Geologists utilize chemistry, biology and physics to investigate environmental issues, hydrocarbon accumulations, natural hazards, water quality and availability, ores and valuable minerals and natural disasters. Education - Secondary Life Science
The Secondary Education program prepares students to work in grades 7-12. Graduates of the Secondary Education program earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with certification in one subject area (listed below). Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.
