Education - Spanish All Level
The All-Level Spanish Education program prepares students to teach Spanish in grades K through 12. Graduates of the All-Level Spanish Education program earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with certification in Spanish Education. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language. Students of All-Level Spanish Education do not have to be fluent in Spanish prior to starting the major.

English
English majors focus on analyzing and interpreting a variety of literature like novels, short stories, essays, poetry and other works of creative writing. The coursework includes a variety of studies including history, politics, arts and culture.

Computer Science
The department of Computer Science offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in computer science. Music
The music major is for serious musicians who are resolute about pursuing new frontiers and not afraid to challenge musical conventions. The major is in the liberal arts tradition.  It is a good fit for students who want a music degree, but also want to take extra courses outside their major course of study. The Great Texts major is one of two undergraduate majors within the Baylor University Honors College, but it is not required that you be part of Honors to major in Great Texts. The coursework includes the study of influential written works from a variety of cultures throughout the ages. Available courses include:

The Great Texts program offers an integrated humanities education that crosses the customary academic divisions between what we know, what we love and how we live together. These studies are intensely practical because questions in real life often concern the connections between knowledge, ethical discernment and imaginative enjoyment.  Many graduates pursue graduate, law and medical school. Graduates can also expect to find career opportunities in international business or at academic institutions.

The Middle Grades Education Program is ideal for students who are eager to work with growing minds and daily changes. When teaching middle grades students, who are discovering who they are and what they want to do with their lives, there is rarely a dull moment in the classroom. The program prepares highly qualified teachers that will earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with a specific subject in 4-8 certification. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.

Marketing
The Marketing major (designated as a pre-major) is a comprehensive study of promoting, pricing and placing a product. Marketing students can choose an emphasis in Sports, Strategy and Sales, Nonprofit and Social Enterprise Marketing or tailor their own marketing emphasis by selecting any three marketing courses beyond what is required.Available courses include:

• Retail Store Management
• Consumer Behavior
• Strategic Brand Management
• Marketing Research

A degree in Marketing qualifies graduates for many occupations like Sales and Customer Service, Product Management, and Marketing Research. Other students find work in Advertising, Sales Promotion, Event Marketing, and Purchasing.  The marketing department works with students to place them in internships to enhance students' resumes and provide experience in the market place.

Biochemistry
The Biochemistry major is designed to provide a firm foundation in biochemistry and prepare students for careers in health-related disciplines, medical research or biotechnology. A solid background in biochemistry is an important advantage for medical school and many Biochemistry majors declare a Pre-Health track. Biochemistry students are encouraged to take more biology courses than the typical chemistry major. Available courses include:
