Our program sets itself apart by being distinctly Christian — with a plethora of research opportunities. We provide flexible emphases for our applied chemistry major, from computer science or mathematics to business, green chemistry, environmental chemistry and forensic science.

Forensic Science Emphasis (Chemistry major - applied)
You'll be well connected to alumni in the field of forensic sciences. What we teach will qualify you to work in a crime laboratory, or get a job in drug testing. By studying film production at Lipscomb, you’ll learn the art of storytelling and how to express your original ideas on screen, in an environment that emphasizes collaboration, compassion and care for individuals and communities around the world. Plus, our Christian worldview informs our approach to hospitality — learn how and why food systems management is a form of ministry.  

From this program, you can go on to culinary school, restaurant management and nonprofit management — with a firm foundation in business, since you’ll automatically earn a business minor. The International Affairs major is the perfect way to maximize your semester abroad. Your 12 Global Learning credits will be applied to the major, fulfilling a core part of the coursework for this major. International Affairs integrates your language training, travels, and Lipscomb education.
