Mechanical Engineering Technology
The Engineering Technology Council of the American Society for Engineering Education defines Engineering Technology as the profession in which knowledge of mathematics and natural sciences gained by higher education, experience, and practices is devoted primarily to the implementation and extension of existing technology for the benefit of humanity. Engineering technology focuses on the applied aspects of science and engineering to prepare graduates for practice in product improvement, manufacturing, and engineering operational functions. Engineering technologists are suited for industries that deal with application, manufacturing, implementation, engineering operation, sales, and production.

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you’ll gain a broad understanding of engineering technology. You’ll also be able to solve problems using technical and hands-on skills and apply their knowledge in the design, manufacture, sales, installation, operation and/or maintenance of complex, high-value systems.

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. The mission of the geology program is to provide integrated and process-oriented curricula, based on fundamental scientific principles and processes that enable graduates to pursue challenging careers and maintain lifelong learning. Persons interested in geology should have a genuine interest in natural sciences, some inborn curiosity to figure "things" out, and, as in any technical profession, a good portion of perseverance and motivation. Psychology students at TAMUCC receive an excellent and intellectually exciting education in psychology as a science. They research, analyze, and offer original interpretations of the past in rigorous and clearly-written work. As graduate students in history, you will do the same. The Master's degree in History is structured to introduce students to these critical tasks.

The MA in History will benefit secondary school teachers seeking to enhance their professional skills and standing. It will also benefit students planning careers in academia, public history, archival work, government, non-profit, or the professions.

The MIS program supports students and professionals in their applied use of computers. Information systems supports a variety of business activities using computer systems; it is not intended to prepare software developers.

The curriculum for the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is designed to provide professional development at the undergraduate level in the visual arts, through in-depth study in studio art. The degree requires a minimum of 75 semester hours in art, at least 36 of which must be in upper-division coursework.

Within this program, you’ll gain a broad understanding of visual art. You’ll also be preparing for specific careers along with theories and concepts, and will apply these theories and concepts in the senior exhibition.
