Undergraduate International Pathway Program (1-Semester) - Bachelor of Science in Geology

The International Year is a 2-semester program, equivalent to a year's study of a bachelor's degree. This program has been specially designed to prepare international students for an undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Music
Our program offers performance opportunities via a wide array of ensembles which are open to all university students, including university orchestra, symphonic and concert bands, pep band, jazz band, university singers, Camerata Isla (chamber choir), and Corpus Christi Chorale. Music majors also participate in chamber ensembles including string quartet, various woodwind and brass ensembles, percussion ensemble, guitar ensemble, and more.

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you’ll gain a broad understanding of music. You’ll also understand music theory, history, literature, and culture. As part of this degree, you’ll perfect your critical thinking skills when hearing musical sounds.

The Mays Business School offers a graduate program leading to the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). Enrollment in the Mays MBA Program and related courses is restricted to students in the classification G7 BUAD. A G6 student is not eligible to enroll in Mays MBA Program courses.

All core course enrollments are handled through the Mays MBA Program Office. Details regarding the Mays MBA Program curriculum may be obtained by contacting the MBA Program Office. The Mays MBA Program is a non-thesis degree for which a final oral examination is not required. Admission to the program is in the fall semester only. The Mays Business School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) at all program levels.

The Master of Science in Early Childhood Education is a degree designed for individuals who are currently working with young children or are desiring to work with young children in an educational setting. Courses are structured to increase the educator’s knowledge of young children and the ensuing implications for programs and curricula.

Teachers, curriculum specialists and administrators will improve their competence in designing curriculum, classrooms, centers, and classroom experiences for young children. Students will also improve their skills in evaluating instruction based on children’s needs, and develop techniques to appropriately evaluate young children’s learning.

Through the Master's in Early Childhood Education, teachers, curriculum specialists and administrators develop advanced expertise in designing curricula, classrooms, and experiences for young children. Geology
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. The mission of the geology program is to provide integrated and process-oriented curricula, based on fundamental scientific principles and processes that enable graduates to pursue challenging careers and maintain lifelong learning. The Joint B.S. Physics degree is a Bachelor of Science degree with a Physics major, provided through the joint efforts of physics faculty both here at TAMUCC and at other schools in the Texas Physics Consortium (TPC).

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you’ll gain a broad understanding of physics. You’ll be able to understand scientific methods and be able use them to develop and conduct studies of physical systems. You will also be able to communicate physical information effectively at the undergraduate level, whether the communication is in oral or written form, with or without the use of technology.

The kinesiology major prepares you for a professional career in health science-related fields, including athletic training, exercise science, physical education, sports management, sports coaching, or strength/conditioning.

As the largest department in the College of Liberal Arts, we offer undergraduate degrees in both psychology and sociology, as well as minors in Social Work and Women and Gender Studies. We also offer a master’s degree in psychology with a clinical emphasis.

The Bachelor of Arts degree with major study in art is a general program in art. The degree requires a minimum of 51 semester hours of art coursework. Course selections include two- and three-dimensional art, art history, design, and art electives.
