Music Education: Choral Conducting
The Music Education-Choral Conducting emphasis is designed for graduate students who wish to further their teaching and conducting skills. Additionally, it will prepare students for entrance into a DMA or PhD program or a profession in academia.

Health Sciences - Pre-Professional

The pre-professional track of the health sciences program prepares you for professional graduate study in fields such as medicine, dentistry, optometry, physician assistant, or pharmacy. If you’re interested in a career in health care but aren’t sure which area to pursue, the Health Sciences program may be a good fit for you. Health Sciences is also available as a minor.

Our health sciences program grounds you in the liberal arts with a firm foundation in the sciences, while providing a broad overview of the health care system. By majoring in health sciences, you can prepare for future study in a wide range of health care careers.

Although this is a non-clinical program, it will prepare you for graduate programs in fields such as medicine, dentistry, physician assistant, optometry, chiropractic, pharmacy, or podiatry.

Oboe

The overall size of the woodwind department and instrumental studios provides each student significant individual attention and performance opportunities. Whether you aspire to work as a professional performer, music educator, producer, manager, acoustic engineer, or other, we have a place for you in Hartt's woodwind department.

Ceramics
You’ll work with both ceramic sculpture and pottery in the introductory courses and develop personal direction in your work as you advance through the curriculum. In all courses, regardless of level, you’ll develop your aesthetic and technical skills.

To further your growth, there are field trips, exhibitions, and workshops to attend, all designed to expose you to various modes of thought, working methods, and works of ceramic art by leading professionals in the field.

Robotics Engineering
This program will prepare you to fulfill the growing and expected demands for entry-level careers in robotics. Dive into a hands-on experience around robotics principals, designs, and operation. Students in this program will especially benefit from the laboratories in CETA, including two new robotics labs.

Robotics is the discipline that combines computer, electrical, mechanical, sensing, and computer science in real time. It plays a role in nearly every aspect of our lives, and we can see its applications in automation, manufacturing, the defense industry, commerce—like Amazon—and the healthcare industry to mention a few.

Chemistry

UHart’s Chemistry Department offers major programs designed to give you a thorough foundation in all areas of chemistry, and is a great place to study if you are planning for a career in chemistry, biochemistry, the medical profession, environmental law, forensics, food science, chemical physics, or any other related discipline.

The curriculum integrates experimental, narrative, and documentary approaches to photography. You will be trained in black and white and color wet processes, studio practices, digital technologies, and a variety of historical techniques. A senior exhibition marks the culmination of the program of study.
