The Master of City Planning at UNSW is a two-year, professionally accredited postgraduate degree that allows you to bring experience from previous study to launch a career in urban and regional planning.

The Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE)/Law draws together the perspectives of four crucial academic disciplines to address professional demands, global trends and contemporary social issues, such as justice, inequality and climate change.

Alongside courses from the disciplines of Politics & International Relations, Philosophy, and Economics, the UNSW PPE degree explores the synergies and tensions between these fields and trains you to assess their relevance in meeting humanity's most complex challenges.

The Master of Engineering is a flexible postgraduate degree delivered by UNSW Engineering, Australia’s leading engineering faculty. It's designed for students who require an accredited engineering qualification.

You’ll gain the accreditation required for a career in petroleum engineering, the oil and gas industry and other related sectors. While studying this degree you’ll explore a broad range of areas in petroleum engineering including:

• Drilling engineering

The Master of Engineering includes an integrated 60 days industrial training component and courses to develop your technical knowledge and skills in engineering management, analysis and design to ensure you graduate career-ready and accredited. Your education will provide in-depth knowledge as well as deeper project experience and increased technical confidence across selected research disciplines. You’ll be prepared for work as a professional engineer through specialised study in your area of professional interest, equipping you with the required knowledge and skills for a rewarding career in engineering.

This double degree is designed for students wishing to pursue a career in either Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) will provide you with a solid background in mathematics, natural sciences and computing which give you knowledge and skills in your chosen engineering discipline specialisation.

Biomedical Engineering applies engineering principles to the development of technologies and solutions in a range of healthcare-related fields, including implantable bionics, drug delivery systems, medical imaging, radiotherapy, orthopaedic devices, robotic surgery, cell and tissue engineering, physical rehabilitation and others. This double degree is currently offered for select specialisations only.

Key features

When you study this degree you’ll graduate with a specialised knowledge in Biomedical Engineering and a related Engineering specialisation unique to your interests and professional aspirations. With two degrees you’ll increase your knowledge of engineering by studying across two disciplines, one being Biomedical Engineering.

The type of engineer you’ll become often depends on the specialisation you choose in this degree. This degree offers 19 engineering specialisations across different engineering disciplines.
