Year 1: In your first year, you’ll work through introductory–level courses in accounting, finance, economics, and marketing. Exit the program now with a Business Administration certificate or continue on to Year 2.
Year 2: In your second year, you'll take courses in financial accounting, statistics, corporate finance, and business law. Exit the program now with a Business Administration diploma or continue on to Year 3.
Year 3: In your third year, you'll continue your studies in financial and management cost accounting, auditing.
Year 4: For your fourth year, you'll be taking courses in accounting theory, income tax, fraud awareness in order to graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting major.

You'll gain valuable business skills while building on past learning. You will study a broad range of marketing concepts with opportunities to develop competencies in corporate communications & marketing, consumer behaviour, and services marketing.

Work Experience
You will gain practical skills and experience by combining your academic studies with relevant work experience in the Internship designation. You'll graduate with practical work experience and employer references. Employers value internship as a source of eager and well-prepared talent and often use the internship process as a means of recruiting permanent employees.

The Electronics and Computer Engineering Bridge to the University of Victoria program is offered by Camosun College with the cooperation of the University of Victoria (UVic). Students with an approved diploma in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, can take this one-year program to upgrade their mathematics, sciences, and related engineering knowledge in preparation for entering the third year of Engineering at the University of Victoria.

This two-year, 20-course program will give you a head start in economics, statistics, science and English, as well as your choice of electives to round out your education.

You will learn to apply economic theories to analyze market changes, consumer choices, competition, business cycles, and the effects of trade. You will gain exposure to banking and financial markets, managerial economics, and quantitative methods. The analytical skills you develop in this program are useful in a career in economics or business, and in your personal decision-making.

We offer three credentials that ladder together. You can apply, exit and return at any stage. In addition, the Business Admin program now offers a flexible trimester system, which means you can choose to get started in January, May or September.

Upgrade your math, physics and English skills and take courses in technical drawing, graphics and computing that you'll need for your next step. In less than a year, you can earn a certificate and a guaranteed seat in the next intake of the Civil Engineering Technology diploma program.

The flexible General Arts program offers you a two-year grounding in the arts. Build the program that interests you by choosing courses that fit your educational goals. You can also choose to specialize with five options within the Associate of Arts degree, including English, economics, social work or psychology.

What you'll learn
Camosun's General Arts associate degree program is offered by the School of Arts & Science. This two-year, 20-course program will give you a well-rounded education in the general arts.

As a graduate, you can choose to continue your studies with a bachelor's degree. You'll also be ready for any career that requires good communications skills and wide general knowledge. This AD can also lead to a full block transfer to Royal Roads University's Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication program.

Work experience option
As an Associate Degree student, you can gain practical work experience through Co-op or an Internship. Work terms may be paid or unpaid, and are available after you've completed at least eight courses.

Choose between one four-month internship or two work terms with co-operative education.

The Centre for Sport & Exercise Education offers innovative programing in the areas of Sport Management, Sport & Fitness Leadership, Kinesiology, Athletic & Exercise Therapy, Massage Therapy and Adventure Education. As a Sport & Fitness Leadership student, you will become an integral part of the Centre for Sport & Exercise Education (CSEE).

Build Your Skills
If you’re artistically and technologically minded, the Interactive Media Developer (IMD) program will nurture your programming skills and artistic vision to take on creative and technical challenges.

You'll learn the skills you need to take an idea or a problem and develop it from concept to production. You’ll get the opportunity to write professional documentation, design and implement stories or games, and apply your knowledge to create you own interactive experiences. Optional work terms will complement your coursework with added hands-on experience.

A double-credentialed program
The one-year Interactive Media Developer Technician certificate program prepares you to work locally in the exciting world of software development. Possible careers include junior application or web developer, and junior graphic designer.

Continue your studies for another year, and you receive the Interactive Media Developer Technologist diploma. Graduates work as web, software, game or mobile app developers, and are prepared for work in quality assurance, visual effects, product management or product design/user experience.

What to expect
This technical, rigorous program is composed of a one-year full-time certificate and a subsequent one-year diploma. Both credentials can be completed with an internship designation.

As a full-time student in the Interactive Media Developer program, you will spend 25-30 hours in class each week with approximately five hours of homework every day, including weekends. Before you begin this program you should be comfortable with basic computing skills, word processing, and file management.

Year 1
In your first year, you'll develop strong foundational skills and knowledge in programming and application development, computer logic and algorithms, 3D modelling and animation, and project management.

Year 2
As you continue your studies toward the Diploma in Interactive Media Developer, you’ll develop skills in artificial intelligence, design visualization, augmented reality, human-computer interaction, and project management.

Optional Co-op/Internship Designation
As an Interactive Media Developer student, you have the option to supplement your classroom learning with the completion of one or two paid work terms. After successful completion of these optional work experiences, you'll qualify either either the Co-op or Internship designation when you graduate.
