The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University offers students a comprehensive two yearlong undergraduate diploma in the field of 2D Animation & Visual Development. This program is modeled on the concepts of drawing, art, design and classical animation techniques. Students learn about the basic principles underlying animation and its techniques. The BPA program is co-administered by Capilano University as well as Douglas College and is one of a kind in the entire country. The Health Care Assistant (HCA) program combines theory courses, lab skills and clinical practicums in real-world health care settings. The HCA certificate is an 8-month full-time program offered in an accelerated program that students can complete in 7 months of study.

The Faculty of Business and Professional Studies at the School of Business, Capilano University offers a two year long diploma in Business. The said course is great for students who wish to work in business management and operate a business venture of their own.
