This program is designed to develop the future managers and leaders in the global hospitality and tourism industries. You'll learn from award-winning faculty, training in key areas of Canadian and international tourism management, including revenue management, tourism planning and policy, service management, convention management, hotel operations, and cross-cultural tourism.

As part of this 16-month diploma, you'll participate in a 280-hour practicum (more information in Application Details), working in the hospitality area of your interest. Upon graduation, you may be eligible to apply for a three-year Post Graduate Work Permit.

Capilano University has an Associate of Science Degree program that is offered by the School of Arts & Science. Once students graduate from the AD program they can choose to continue their education by pursuing a bachelor’s degree and furthering their education. This program prepares students by providing them salubrious education in the field of science and providing them with the best kind of academic counseling.

Under the Associate of Science degree, students can gain valuable practical experience through an internship. This helps students gain professional experience and hence prepare them for the future. The Associate of Science program is a 60 credit points program and once students complete their degree they can transfer these credits and seek admission in a full-fledged program under several great British Columbia universities.

• Schedule and budget the pre-production, production, and post-production of short independent films.

The Human Kinetics Diploma with a major in Exercise Science is an undergraduate diploma which spans over a period of two long years offered by the School of Human Kinetics at Capilano University. This is a comprehensive program designed for students who wish to explore the human body and kinetics and make a career out of it. From subjects like biology, physiology, psychology to exercise and physical activity, kinesiology and so on, this program deals with a number of subjects and topics. 

Students are required to study about the relationship between human body and exercise and how they can positively inculcate exercise in human life. The aforementioned diploma prepares students for a career in exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, and sport psychology and exercise management. The Business Administration Certificate Program teaches students basic management skills that have practical value in a wide variety of jobs.

The program requires successful completion of one required business course, two specialty business courses and a choice of three business elective courses (three-credits each) chosen from the School of Business course offerings.

Credit from the certificate program can ladder into the Business Administration Diploma and/or the Bachelor of Business Administration.

The Diploma in Indigenous Independent Digital Filmmaking at Capilano University is an undergraduate program which extends for a period of two years and is offered by the School of Motion Picture Arts. The students who are interested in building a career in film and television production should take up this program. The Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education is a two year long baccalaureate program that deals with children, their care and education. The Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) Diploma gives students the required knowledge to work with children under the age of five in licensed preschools and childcare centres. The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism provides students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that would enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The coursework and experiential component of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism qualify students to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board™ (BACB™) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst™ (BCaBA™).

Capilano University offers its students a two year long baccalaureate diploma in the field of Technical Theatre. The aforementioned course is curated for students who wish to take up theatre and drama as their career choice. This program does not deal exclusively with acting and performance but also weighs on the other aspects of theatre such as the art of lighting, sound, scenic construction, prop making, scenic paint and stage management to produce numerous productions.

Throughout the course of this degree, students are guided and mentored by expert faculty in the field of theatre and performing arts.
