This post-BA program has been designed to meet the needs of students and practicing psychologists to enhance their knowledge and skills in assessment.For post-BA students, the program is intended to offer professional preparation to provide skilled assessment services under the supervision of a registered psychologist (e.g., as a psychological assistant). For registered psychologists, the courses are intended to allow students to incorporate specific domains of psychological knowledge and assessment skills into their professional practice.

Key areas of emphasis include intellectual, personality, forensic, and neuropsychological assessment, in addition to the diagnosis of child, adolescent, and adult psychopathology. Our graduate diploma requires 18 credits or 6 courses worth 3 credits each. Courses are focused on developing students’ theory and knowledge integrated with hands-on practical skills. Our diploma program is set up to provide students with the instruction and practical opportunities to acquire the abilities needed to complete psychological assessments, write reports, and make helpful, reliable, and valid suggestions for the individuals or third parties seeking the assessments.

The Graduate Diploma in Information Assurance is a 6 course/18 credit coursework program. Any coursework completed or graduate diploma received will count towards the Master of Information Systems Assurance Management (MISAM) program should you apply to the MISAM program and get accepted.

As a MISSM graduate, you may not apply for the MISAM degree; however, you may apply for and receive the Graduate Diploma in Information Assurance if you wish to broaden your assurance, information systems audit and governance knowledge.

Concordia University of Edmonton offers a number of unique, one of a kind programs and one such program is the Bachelor of Management - Conflict Management Emphasis. This is a four year long undergraduate program where students learn to deal with professional level conflicts and other people issues in a corporate environment. The Bachelor of Management - Conflict Management Emphasis program is held in conjunction with the ADR Institute of Alberta (Appropriate Dispute Resolution). 

A number of surveys that were conducted show that, industry leaders, HR and other professionals go through some or the other level of conflict in their daily work lives. Conflict Managers come in handy during such situations and have the skills to deal with a vast array of corporate issues. A number of topics and subjects are chosen which the students study such as Supervision and Conflict Management, and Negotiation and Mediation. History is the careful organization of the past and is a very important part of our existence. At Concordia University, students are given the opportunity of taking up an undergraduate three year program in the field of history.
