Career Development Practitioner is a three-semester (one-year) graduate certificate program that prepares graduates to enter the career development sector. The world of work is rapidly changing and new careers are emerging to meet current and future workforce needs. Career Development Professionals provide information, advice, and guidance related to career exploration, skill acquisition, job search, and maintenance. This one-year graduate (three semesters) certificate program provides training to enter and/or advance in the field of career development such as career and employment advisors, career resource specialists, job developers, or career management professionals. This program may also appeal to practitioners working in the field who want to gain additional formal training, job coaching experience, or attain their Career Development Practitioner designation. Graduation from the program provides the full academic component and partial fulfillment of work experience hours for certification by the Career Development Practitioners' Certification Board of Ontario (CDPCBO).

This unique degree program, delivered at the honours level, provides a comprehensive education in accounting, audit, and information technology to produce graduates who possess the skills needed in the global business environment. The program addresses the need for professional accountants and auditors with information technology expertise and combines theory, integrated applied projects, and paid co-op work terms. Our degree meets the undergraduate educational requirements for direct entry into the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Professional Education Program (PEP) which is part of an individual's path to obtaining their full CPA designation. The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) – Financial Services degree program provides the opportunity to develop necessary planning competencies, professional skills, and required technical knowledge needed for a career in financial services. This four-year program, delivered at the honours level, offers a clear pathway to many successful and exciting career opportunities in banking, insurance, investment management, and estate and financial planning. You will learn through a combination of active learning approaches, which include group work, major individual case analyses, multiple projects requiring industry engagement, and meetings with industry professionals outside of the college. By the mid-point of this program, the faculty team ensures you will be ready to begin your preferred major – either in financial planning or property and casualty insurance. Whichever major you choose, you will encounter a blend of extensive technical analyses and opportunities to develop your professional ‘soft’ skills. You will apply and further refine your program-related skills and abilities through an 8-month, paid, full-time co-op work-term situated between third and fourth year. The program curriculum is aligned with the body of knowledge and course requirements (in whole or in part) for a number of professional licenses. As a successful graduate of the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) – Financial Services degree program, you will meet the pre-requisite conditions to challenge professional examinations and/or receive advanced standing into the following licenses/designations:

The program provides marketable skills, validated by ongoing input from an advisory committee of marketing experts.The 3-year Marketing program has one of the highest direct employment rates in the College.Conestoga College is an Accredited Partner of the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA). This program is accredited by the CPSA Institute as providing all 35 hours of pre-requisite education toward the Certified Sales Associate designation, the first level of the Graduated Certification Framework. Students successfully completing this program are eligible for their Sales Certificate from the CPSA Institute. 

The Animation industry is growing within Canada and there is a demand for Animation professionals. This two-year credential is designed to prepare graduates for animation opportunities in the fields of TV, film, game, and online production. As a student, this program provides you with the opportunity to bring life to characters and stories. Using your creative talents with drawing, animation and production techniques, along with strong storytelling skills, you will create a variety of 2D and 3D animations. A critical component of this program is the production pipeline and the ability to take an animation project from concept to completion. You will work in project-based learning environments and will create work to contribute to your e-portfolio. A field placement in the last semester of the program gives you direct access to the animation industry.

Conestoga's Protection, Security and Investigation (PSI) and Police Foundations (PF) programs offer a two-year integrated learning experience to help you develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values of a preferred candidate in your chosen field. The first year of the Protection, Security and Investigation program is shared with the Police Foundations program. This common first year focuses on justice foundations and has been designed to provide an overall base for a variety of careers in criminal justice and community safety. In this first year, you will be exposed to courses that give you an understanding of how society and its institutions work. In second year, you will be given the opportunity to concentrate your studies in one of the two programs, which focus on policing or security/investigations: Police Foundations or Protection, Security and Investigation. This second year provides both academic study and job-focused practical training to prepare students for careers in the private and public sectors. 

Graduates of the Protection, Security and Investigation program may also qualify for a Provincial Security Guard License and Private Investigator License, which can be valuable points of entry into the world of work. 

Massage therapists are important members of the interprofessional health care team, working with a broad range of patients. Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health, through engagement not only of the musculoskeletal system but also of the neurological and circulatory systems. The Massage Therapy program is geared towards those individuals with an interest in health care and helping people, an aptitude for science and problem solving, and direct hands-on application of skills. This three-year advanced diploma is designed to meet the educational requirements for certification, through examination, as a Registered Massage Therapist by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. This fully-integrated program covers the basic biological sciences such as anatomy and physiology, massage therapy specific knowledge and skills, and clinical reasoning and therapeutic decision making.

Financial Technology
The field of financial technology is evolving as it responds to the challenges facing the 21st century financial sector. This means that professionals employed in the field must be equipped to support diverse client groups such as individuals and company-based financial institutions. If you have a background in the computer industry, finance or other related fields, and are ready to attain in-depth competencies to help consumers and businesses track, manage, and facilitate their finances, this Ontario College Graduate Certificate program will be of interest to you. Through a variety of projects, case studies and interactive learning opportunities, and using current and relevant resources to support the latest trends in financial technology, you will develop the skills needed to help individuals and businesses secure their finances. You will study topics such as applications, emerging market trends, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and management. In just eight months, graduates will be job-ready to take the lead in the financial technology industry in various roles such as Business Analyst, Blockchain Business Analyst, Financial Technologist and other roles related to financial technology.

Project Management
Learn how to manage simple to complex projects from start to finish, and become a critical part of an organization’s most exciting achievements. Develop the skills you need to oversee project management activities such as planning, managing scope, costs, time while balancing client expectations. Learn organizational Agility with practices such as Scrum. Establish goals for your project team and lead them to overcome obstacles to achieve success, meeting stakeholders needs. Earn project management education hours towards a variety of certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Scrum Master (ASM), Risk Management Professional (RMP), or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) designations. Interested in taking this program on a part-time basis? It's possible to complete this program while still working full-time and fulfilling your other commitments. 

This four-level English for Academic Studies program focuses on the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills required for college/university studies. Students start at a level determined by scores on an in-house placement test or an internationally-recognized English language test such as TOEFL or IELTS. In levels 2 and 3, students reinforce English skills through Canadian Perspectives courses, as well as through core English skills courses. Concurrent with English studies in Level 4, students take post-secondary credit courses including Student Success for Higher Learning. 

Domestic students (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and refugees or convention refugees) wishing to pursue English language studies should enrol in General Arts and Science: English Language Studies.

This full-time, two-year, Ontario College Graduate certificate program will be of interest to graduates of engineering and engineering technology programs wanting to expand their theoretical knowledge by providing opportunities for complementary practical training and experience in a manufacturing shop learning environment. Through practical courses the student will be exposed to situations that arise in the workplace. Domestic and foreign trained individuals will benefit from this program's solid modeling, machining, and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming courses (machining option) or blue print reading and welding symbols courses (welding option). In addition, applied learning opportunities include manufacturing shop projects and a capstone project which consolidates the theoretical and practical content. Upon completion, students will be prepared to make an effective start in supervisory or managerial roles in a manufacturing environment. The program helps to develop leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex manufacturing processes and teams effectively to meet business goals. It includes quality assurance, process and project management with a focus on meeting challenges in a production environment from operational and strategic perspectives. Graduates will have an understanding of advancements in manufacturing processes, communications, human resources and safety practices to be able to effectively contribute in today's manufacturing sector.
