The two-year Office Administration - Legal program provides students with a specialization in legal administrative procedures and processes to meet the needs of an increasingly global and technologically advancing legal industry. 

In the first year, students build strong technological, administrative, and communication skills, and are introduced to office procedures specific to the legal environment. Students begin their legal studies with an introduction to civil litigation and legal accounting.

In the second year, students continue to apply substantive and procedural law to the production of legal documentation in the areas of family law, litigation, real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law. Students receive extensive administrative training, with an emphasis on problem-solving skills, by completing client files and accounting procedures, integrating a variety of current computer programs and specialized legal software.

Throughout the program, students are exposed to a wide variety of hands-on practical applications with an emphasis on organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As a capstone to the program, students showcase their skills by completing a 90-hour work placement.

Senior management require strong administrative and analytical support, relying on assistants, business, and office managers with technical competency, superior organizational skills, the ability to manage conflicting demands and a variety of responsibilities. Human resources, financial management, project management, principles of management as well as program development and fundraising will also be addressed. Multi-camera production experience is well served by our fully equipped HD studio along with remote production equipment.The fourth semester of this 2-year program is split between a field placement where you will work within the industry and a final capstone project where you will integrate the skills you have learned within the program. This provides you with an opportunity to produce a project you are passionate about and to strengthen your portfolio. Along with jobs within the Film and Television Industry, the Television and Independent Production Program also prepares you to navigate the world of freelance employment or to create your own opportunities through entrepreneurship.

This Ontario College Advanced Diploma program provides you with the skills and knowledge required for all aspects of power generation and maintenance operation, both theoretical and practical, at the 4th and 3rd class levels. Power engineers operate and maintain the machinery and equipment that provides power, heat, refrigeration and other industrial services. This may include boilers, steam and gas turbines, generators, gas and diesel engines, pumps, condensers, compressors and pressure vessels in large facilities, buildings, industrial power and process plants and thermal electric generating stations. If you successfully pass the 4th class ticket exam before your second placement, this program provides you with the opportunity to count the work-integrated learning hours accumulated in the second part of the program towards your time reduction qualification for your 3rd class ticket.
