Professionals in the healthcare field recognize that mental disorders, including addictive behaviours, play a prominent role in the many complex clinical presentations which all front-line clinicians face.  In this program, students are equipped with the appropriate clinical competencies to recognize and include mental health issues and build effective plans of care to ensure good clinical outcomes.  Students are exposed to a variety of intervention options such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and dialectal behaviour therapy. Ultimately, students develop the skills necessary to effectively work with clients to deliver enhanced services with a focus on quality across a variety of settings.

Students focus their learning on acquiring knowledge and skills in administrative-based courses by the use of diverse technology to be able to effectively perform in an executive environment. Students have the opportunity to develop supervisory, leadership, and training skills.

Students in all Office Administration streams enroll in a common first semester. As they gain experience and background, they have course selection options to complement prescribed office administration curriculum and further their interests, skills, and career goals.

This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to become leaders in the fitness and health promotion industry. Success in the Fitness and Health promotion industry is supported by a fundamental understanding of scientific and business theory, which can be translated into practical application. Student in this program are exposed to the theory that they require to excel in this field, and are given multiple opportunities to apply theory in both class room and industry settings.

In this program, students focus on networking, operating systems, system administration, virtualization, and security related to new computer networks and the maintenance of existing computer networks. As an official Cisco Networking Academy partner, certified instructors assist students preparing for industry recognized certifications such as the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching. Students gain experience in problem solving, and effective oral and written communications through examination of current industry trends and requirements. Students acquire professional and entrepreneurial skills for industry and self-employment, as well as real life experience through participation in co-op work terms.

Students gain occupational skills for employment in the construction and renovation industry. Students practice lot layout, concrete formwork, framing, demolition, renovations, interior and exterior finish and sustainable construction techniques. Theory and applications of safety standards, building codes, blueprint reading, energy efficiency, and environmental practices are studied. Students learn to interpret the Ontario Building Code as it applies to renovations and new construction. Focus is on the residential sector. Basics of entrepreneurship are presented.

Feed your dreams! This one year program trains students to work in professional kitchens regionally, nationally, and internationally. Students learn fundamental food knowledge and develop skills of food preparation and presentation that prepares them for lifelong career success with strong industry connections. Students practice professionalism, culinary and management skills, safety and sanitation, nutrition, product knowledge and identification while applying their skills in a hands on learning environment. This program provides the in school portion of the cook apprenticeship program of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development.

This program carefully balances theory and practice and parallels the two year Hospitality Management - Hotel and Resort program. The unique benefits of this program are the opportunity over 1000 hours of paid work experience, extensive experiential learning, and a strong student-centred learning environment. This program delivers innovative curriculum and develops employability and strategic management skills within the pillars of the hospitality industry:

In this increasingly complex and competitive business environment, accounting skills are very much in demand.

The program provides a foundation in all of the functional business areas and a comprehensive education in specific accounting practices and theory. Through a strong focus on application, students develop the skills needed for success in the business world; analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and teamwork. Students graduate ready to enter the workforce and support the accounting activities of any organization.

Students in this program prepare for work with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers as an integral part of the team developing, presenting, and executing building designs. The program equips a student with comprehensive understanding of current competitive architectural and construction environments that challenge professionals in the field, including traditional and emerging construction technologies and materials, the current codes and standards, and business and entrepreneurial essential strategies. Various aspects of architectural design are present in a continuous stream throughout the curriculum, starting from design fundamentals and ending in the third year with the two-semester major architectural project. These projects are supported by courses dedicated to industry-standard computer applications, such as Autodesk® AutoCAD® and Revit®, and leading-edge technologies related to Building Information Modeling, such as virtual reality and building scanning.

This program is designed to prepare students for exciting employment opportunities in the golf sector of the hospitality industry. Theoretical concepts taught in the classroom are blended with practical learning opportunities gained through exposure to various golf facilities in North America. Students are exposed to all aspects of golf operations from turf care and maintenance to the operation of retail outlets and golf event planning. Students also gain professional and entrepreneurial skills for industry and self-employment, as well as real life experience through participation in a work term and extensive field trips to golf courses in Canada and the U.S.
