The Human Sciences - Civilization and Citizenship (DEC) course is designed for those seeking the acquisition of fundamental and versatile skills, necessary for the pursuit of university studies.

It allows to acquire a solid training in human sciences centered on the international reality, with the help of disciplines such as geography, history, economy, politics, psychology as well as sociology. During this training, the student learns to identify, analyze and explain the major issues of the contemporary international situation.

The program has three profiles: Civilization and Citizenship, International Management and Individual and Society. The first allows the acquisition of training focused on international reality; the second is an initiation to the basic principles of management and mathematics; the third meets the university prerequisites for psychology and psychoeducation programs.

The Professional Cooking program (DEP) is designed for creative, independent students with a strong interest in cooking and gastronomy. It’s an excellent way to acquire the skills necessary for a stimulating career.

In the Specialization in Business Intelligence program, students will learn about a company’s different departments and how they interact. They will learn about the design and modelling of an information system within the context of business intelligence.

They will also come to understand the challenges involved in data collection and learn how to practise data integration, analysis and visualization using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft’s BI suite.

The Hotel Lodging Management night program (AEC) is designed as much for students interested in familiarizing themselves with the hotel industry as for those already working in the industry but wanting to advance in their careers.

This training opens the doors to many exciting professions. Careers in this domain are ideal for people who enjoy contact with others and would like to work in an international milieu in any country. Training consists of developing various hotel management skills, with courses emphasizing real-life situations, case studies, concrete simulations, and on-site work experiences.

The Information technology programmer-analyst program (AEC) trains students to locate, collect and analyze data on the information processing needs of users; to carry out data modeling and processing using fourth-generation software; and to configure network applications.

This programming course students with quality training and prepares them to break quickly into the job market. The program will prepare students for one of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSD (Visual Basic .NET, Visual C++, etc.) and Oracle OCA (SQL, PL/SQL).

As the only school in Québec to use the Physiodermie products, LaSalle College gives its students the opportunity to work with three different product lines in order to diversify their training and to meet the needs of the market. In this Aesthetic course, you will learn how to use equipment and products geared towards facial care, makeup, manicures, pedicures and wax hair removal.

As a graduate of this Esthetician course, you will find work in spas, beauty salons, hotels, resorts, medical clinics, the home care industry, and you can even open your own business!

This program aims to train generalists (technicians) who will master all aspects of commercial management and sales force management within a retail establishment or in a company. It aims to develop three types of profiles: management of a retail business, commercial or industrial representation, and independent management of a commercial establishment.

Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to put to use the skills acquired in different types of business establishments or within a company.

From Fall 2020, Hotel Management Technique students will have the option to divide their time between the College and an employer establishment to receive practical, concrete and paid field training. LaSalle College’s Work-Integrated Learning – Remunerated option is unique in Montréal.

This DEC also offers practical experience through service and supervision classes in our restaurant-school La Classe, at several major events and conferences, and on courses and professional visits. This enables our students to be versatile and form ties with people in the industry.
