Develop your distinctive style and technical skills with RRC's Professional Photography program. This program provides the knowledge and skills required to develop the technical and creative aspects of digital imaging and processing. Students will develop skills in digital image manipulation, lighting, SLR operation, exposure, composition, printing, editing, retouching and processing as well as foundational business skills. Through classroom discussions, projects, guest lecturers and field experiences, you will become knowledgeable in all areas of digital imaging and processing.

You will acquire hands-on skills in the following:

• Retouching
• Processing

Magnetic resonance uses magnetism, radio waves and computers to acquire medical images. Although still a young technology, it has become firmly rooted in medical practice, particularly for:

• Studying the cardiovascular system 
• Detecting tumours, especially in the brain and spinal column
• Studying body chemistry and functions
• Imaging soft tissues, such as muscles, tendons or arteries

The unique nature of this technology presents special imaging, patient care, and safety requirements. Since magnetic resonance does not involve the use of ionizing radiation, radiation protection is unnecessary.
Magnetic resonance scans require sliding patients into a body-length tunnel - the core of the magnetic field. The image obtained from magnetic resonance scan generally appears on a computer monitor, or as a photograph or computer printouts.

This program develops the knowledge and skills required for the safe and efficient operation of process equipment in residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial establishments. The program's main focus is on power plant operation.
Through theory and practical training, you will learn about the operation and maintenance of boilers, refrigeration systems, HVAC systems and other  process components.
Upon successful completion of the course requirements you may challenge the Province of Manitoba licensing exams at the Fourth and Third Class levels.
The program has an optional exit point at the end of the first year. If you successfully complete the first year, you receive a certificate and may write the standardized Fourth Class provincial examinations.
Prior to starting the program, you will be invited to attend a program overview information session. You will also be invited to participate in a math and reading skills diagnostic testing session that will advise you of your program readiness.

Business, Accounting and Management is a comprehensive program that helps you develop skills in the core areas of business. It also provides you with up-to-date training in computers, accounting, business writing and human resource management. Your online education is supplemented by work-integrated learning, where you will gain valuable experience in a business environment that is immediately applicable in the workforce. Upon completion of the program, you will be ready for employment in a business or accounting environment.

This program provides you with the skills and knowledge to work with children and youth experiencing behavioural and emotional difficulties. You will learn how to intervene and assess situations and formulate strategies to help children, youth, and their families identify and resolve concerns and enhance their quality of life.

The program covers the dynamics of human development within a multicultural perspective. Courses include child and adolescent development, special issues affecting child and youth care, and care for children who have emotional or behavioural difficulties.

This program includes training in relationship development, group process, and family dynamics. It also includes skill-oriented family support and intervention courses, child and youth care methods, listening skills, and activities programming.

This program is designed to increase your fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and help you to gain knowledge of Deaf culture and Deaf history so that you can effectively interact with Deaf individuals.

Deaf persons can benefit from this program by learning more about their own language, culture, and history.

This degree program focuses on the management skills needed in heavy, industrial and commercial, and residential construction. Consider it if you are looking to develop managerial expertise and are already working in areas related to  the skilled trades, engineering, or engineering technologies.

The program curriculum focuses on technology, science, leadership, and management. You will learn how to work effectively in all construction management settings. Program learning outcomes comply with codes, laws, and regulations while respecting sustainable environmental practices.

Prepare for a career as a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machinist or general machinist.  Learn to set up and operate CNC and manual metal cutting machines, interpret engineering drawings, apply geometric dimensioning and use CAD software.

Graduates will be competent in the following:

• Applying safe and correct practices when handling tools and equipment
• Setting up and safely operating manual milling machines, lathes, and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining and turning centers
• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Applying geometric dimensioning to verify component parts
• Using basic Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
• Studies consist of theory and practical training.

This program gives you an understanding of the basic purpose, construction, operation, and service of component parts and assemblies of an automobile.
You will develop the knowledge and skills required to disassemble, inspect, machine, calibrate and reassemble motor vehicle units and components. You will study internal combustion engines, automatic and standard transmissions, brakes, steering, electrical circuits, wiring, and fuel systems.
Most training will take place at RRC’s auto mechanics workshop, an environment that will give you the practical experience required for industry employment. You will also acquire industry work experience as part of this program.

Gain the knowledge and skills needed to work in therapeutic and leisure recreational programming and services for older adults. You will learn to plan, promote, deliver and evaluate effective programs for clientele in various settings, including: personal care homes, extended hospital care, adult day centres, assisted living and other community based programs.

Workplace safety, privacy and health regulations are key components of the program. You will be taught by industry-experienced instructors through integrated workplace experience and two field work placements.
