Advanced Diploma in Aviation Safety (Co-op-Optional)

In this two-year diploma program, you will learn the fundamentals to prepare for a career as a civil engineering technician. Your studies will include computer drafting, municipal and building practices, material testing and field surveying. At the completion of your first year, you will have the option to transfer to the Civil Engineering Technology program (requires a grade of C or better in Strength of Materials).

Optional Co-op

The Honours Bachelor of Data Science and Analytics program is the first-of-its-kind in Ontario. This four-year degree program was designed to meet the growing need for data-driven business solutions. You will learn to identify and interpret data using algorithms and acquire skills to draw meaningful conclusions. Mandatory Degree Work Term
A work experience that includes at least one term in a formal work environment. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements prior to participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the co-op work term(s) is required for graduation. Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the mandatory co-op stream regardless of success in securing a work position.

In this two-year diploma program, you will acquire the specialized knowledge and skills required to safely and competently dispense subnormal vision devices, contact lenses and eyeglasses. You will also learn the basic science of sight and optics and develop practical spectacle fabrication and dispensing skills.

Work Experience

You will focus on environmental technology, water resources and applied sciences. In your final two semesters, you will benefit from advanced computer modelling, water management and analytical courses. In this eight-month graduate certificate program, you will gain the technical and professional skills that are necessary to become a compliance officer. This program covers Canadian regulatory requirements for the banking, insurance and securities industries. You will acquire critical skills such as policies and procedures management, privacy management, and Anti Money Laundering (AML) investigation.

Work Experience
The Financial Services Compliance Administration program does more than just equip graduates with the tools of the trade. It provides you with the opportunity to gain important experience. Upon completion of the program, you will have begun the important first step in the networking process that is critical to finding the position to launch a career in financial services compliance.
