Sheridan's Kinesiology and Health Promotion program equips you to develop, implement and manage health programs and initiatives.

Experiential learning is at the core of our Business Administration – Marketing advanced diploma. You’ll work with your peers on various activities, case studies and projects, including development of a marketing plan for a real-world industry client. You can also gain additional experience through an optional co-op placement, which may lead to employment opportunities after you graduate.

Bring the worlds of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering together. After studying general mechanical engineering concepts in your first year, you'll focus on programmable logic controllers and robotics in your final two semesters. When you graduate, you'll be qualified to help design, install, maintain, operate, supervise and service complex electromechanical systems.

Get hands-on experience

Sheridan’s Veterinary Technician program prepares you to join a professional team in a veterinary medical setting
Outstanding career preparation
This program is a pathway to a rewarding career working with animals in a medical capacity. You’ll learn from Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians, and apply your learning with a field placement in a veterinary clinic.

Accredited by the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians, you’ll be able to sit for the Veterinary Technician National Exam when you graduate.
A humane approach
We strongly believe in a humane and caring approach to veterinary education, so we replace the use of live animals with manikins for teaching purposes whenever possible. Using manikins, you'll fine-tune your skill dexterity in procedures ranging from bandaging to catheter placement and intubation. You will also apply your learning to live animals while in field placement each semester.

Sheridan's Internet Communications Technology program provides an in-depth curriculum on the technologies of the Internet. The longest-standing Internet engineering undergraduate program in Canada, this program will provide you with a great deal of hands-on experience. Our grads specialize in network communications and security, and work for a variety of Canadian and global institutions.

Sheridan's Electrical Techniques certificate program prepares you to compete for work as an electrician apprentice

Practical, hands-on experience
Working both in the classroom and in the shop, you'll get practical, hands-on experience in electrical fundamentals. In just eight months you can master the basic skills you need to become an electrical apprentice. It's the first step towards a career as a professional tradesperson – and there's no better place to start than Sheridan.

Your electrical apprenticeship
To prepare for an electrical apprenticeship, you'll gain instruction in:

Further education
After earning your Electrical Techniques certificate, you can continue your education in related Electromechanical Technician and Technology programs at Sheridan. Advanced standing will be granted for equivalent courses.

Sheridan’s two-year Paralegal diploma program sets you on the road to becoming a licensed paralegal
Critical training
Successful completion of Sheridan's accredited Paralegal program qualifies you to write the Law Society of Ontario licensing examination, a requirement if you wish to practise as a paralegal in Ontario. The training you receive at Sheridan – from professors with many years of experience working in the legal profession – will prepare you for a career in this challenging field.

What you'll learn

• Prosecution and defence of summary conviction offences and provincial offences.
• Small claims court procedure.
• Effective advocacy before tribunals such as the Landlord and Tenant Board, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and the Human Rights Tribunal.

Hands-on experience
Following the final term of your Paralegal program, you'll complete an unpaid four-week (140-hour) field placement in a legal environment within a paralegal's permitted scope of practice. You may be in a variety of legal settings including a court office, legal clinic, paralegal firm or law firm. Some travel may be required, and you'll need to provide your own transportation.

In Sheridan's Honours BBA (Finance) program, you'll gain the fundamental business finance skills you need to help organizations succeed.
What you'll learn
Financial management teams face enormous pressure to provide strategic and timely insights for effective business decision-making. Our Honours BBA (Finance) program prepares you for this, giving you a solid grounding in business fundamentals and teaching you the operational and commercial aspects of the finance function, including investment finance.

Our Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs feature an innovative experiential learning model that prepares you for the workplace. As an electromechanical engineering technologist, you’ll have a deeper understanding of automation and robotics than graduates of our two-year Electromechanical Engineering Technician program. Enhance your knowledge with courses in programmable logic controllers, robotic programming and applications, electropneumatics, fluid power, HVAC, computer integrated manufacturing, 3D modelling and more.

Showcase your abilities through a capstone project and optional co-op
Prove yourself to employers before you even graduate! In your final semester, you’ll work with fellow engineering students on a capstone project that provides solutions for our industry partners. You can also apply for a paid co-op work placement that provides one year of real-world experience. Some of our students have been hired as a direct result of their capstone or co-op participation.

Sheridan's Electrical Engineering Technician program offers you the opportunity to gain proficiency in advanced electrical and communication principles. You'll graduate from this two-year program with extensive hands-on experience and a broad skill set applicable to a wide range of industry contexts.
