Co-op opportunity
In the three-year Marketing advanced diploma program, you can add valuable work experience to your resumé through cooperative education. You'll spend your final two years in the program alternating between school and work, applying what you're learning in class to the workplace. Co-op is a competitive process, and you'll need to meet certain criteria in order to qualify to participate.

International Business Management
The professors who teach Sheridan's International Business courses are personally experienced in international business. They are continually updating the program so that it accurately reflects current international market conditions, challenges and regulations.

Co-op Experience
Eligible students (see About Co-op) can acquire invaluable work experience in the international business field through a work-term cooperative education assignment following completion of the academic portion of the program. This training experience gives you an ideal way to apply what you have learned in class and explore different career paths.

Our 2-year advertising and marketing diploma is designed to teach you everything you need to find communications jobs in Canada. You’ll get foundational knowledge of the advertising business as you learn media development, creative management and account management. You’ll also learn how to develop campaign proposals and determine budgets, getting creative in every aspect of your coursework.

At Sheridan, we believe the best way to learn is by doing. Put your new marketing skills to work through collaborative assignments, hands-on applications, case analyses and industry projects. The Business Analysis and Process Management graduate certificate is affiliated with the International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA). The program focuses on manufacturing, supply chain, financial services, and health care industries, in both the public and private sectors.

Co-op
Students in this program may apply to the Co-op program during their first academic semester. Enrolment in the Co-op program is limited through an additional Co-op application process that takes place in the first semester. Students in the Co-op program are eligible to complete a Co-op work term during the 4-month term following the second semester. Co-operative Education is a form of work-integrated learning that links classroom learning with paid or unpaid work experiences within a professional environment. Co-op work terms are related specifically to the academic studies of each student. The work terms provide an opportunity to learn by doing. You’ll apply theory to practice, develop a meaningful view of the working world, and cultivate an awareness of yourself as a professional.

Students receive in-class and 1-on-1 career education support to help prepare for the work term. The Co-op component is delivered by Sheridan’s Co-operative Education Office, which facilitates over 1800 Co-op/Internship work terms per year Sheridan-wide.

Sheridan’s Honours BBA (Human Resources Management) program gives you the skills you need to contribute to an organization from Day 1. Our Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs feature an innovative experiential learning model that prepares you for the workplace. You won't get a lecture-style environment where you're asked to memorize content. Instead, you'll use collaboration, hands-on learning and experimentation to actively apply your knowledge and solve business problems that simulate the real world.

Build on your foundational architectural education

In your first two years, you’ll learn core architecture skills such as CAD software, building and assembly systems, document preparation and envelope detailing. In your final year, you’ll work with real clients in the community, train with cutting-edge software, prepare project plans and more. You’ll even build a portfolio to help you find work after you graduate.

Get paid work experience with optional co-op placements

As an Architectural Technology student, you can participate in the optional paid co-op. The co-op placement will help you gain real-life experience and make contacts in the architecture and construction industries. Previous student placements have included roles at the City of Mississauga and PCL Construction.

The two-year program focuses on technical and professional skills required to work in a variety of Health Service settings. You will learn to use specialized medical software, OHIP billing, electronic calendaring and scheduling, and communication software applications.

Medical Simulation or Field Placement
When you have successfully completed the first three terms and have met a prescribed GPA, you have the option of choosing either a Medical Simulation course or Field Placement (two days per week). Both options prepare you for entry-level administrative support positions in a medical office or setting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain work experience and evaluate different career paths.
