The Banking sector in India is undergoing a paradigm shift. Over the next decade, the Banking and Financial sector is projected to create up to 2 million new jobs, driven by the efforts of the regulators and government to integrate financial services into rural areas. The manpower requirement in the BFSI industry has risen with over 10 million individuals projected to be employed in the next couple of years. In view of this, the sector is in constant need of dynamic human resources who possess not only traditional knowledge but a strong, more specialised customer centric approach, relevant social skills, aptitude towards sales, relationship building and business acquisition acumen. 

The program provides students with advanced knowledge of educational foundations, learning theories, multiculturalism, inclusion and critical issues in education. It offers teachers essential knowledge and skills to support emerging professionals in their fields while providing a flexible and individualised academic experience.

The 2-year program is divided into 4 semesters. Some of the important courses that are part of this Advanced Teacher Education Program include Philosophy of Education, Human Development, Learning & Teaching, Curriculum Studies, Research in Education, School Leadership, and Technology Literacy.

Our Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a four-year undergraduate program geared toward highly motivated students who are strongly focused on careers in biomedical/pharmaceutical research, biomedicine, and/or the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries. The program spans the entire pharmaceutical continuum—from discovery and development to regulation and from translation to patient care and outcomes.

PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY – Knowledge of Chemistry of drug molecules, their preparation, synthesis, characteristics, analysis and application in Pharmacy. Includes theory and practical subjects such as Organic & Inorganic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Biochemistry, etc.

The two-year master’s program offers specialised qualification with which you can focus on both the technical and artistic aspects of communicating through a range of visual media. The program offered at Chitkara University has a strong focus on the application of artistic and computer-aided design skills to the interpretation of commercial and technical information for the public. 

The M.Des program helps candidates develop their research skills, enhance their experimental practice, construction techniques, equipment and material, and portfolio skills about their respective specialization in design.

The Doctor of Pharmacy (Post Baccalaureate) program will prepare students to provide high quality pharmaceutical care that has the patient as its focus, and optimal drug therapy and health as its goal. The program stresses knowledge of the chemical, biological, social and clinical sciences that underline Pharmacy, an understanding of the relevance of that knowledge to patient care and the skills to apply that knowledge to specific care circumstances.

Data Analytics is the process of examining large data sets to develop insights and patterns that involve the use of analytics techniques like Machine Learning, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, and Statistics. The Data is extracted, prepared and blended to provide analysis for the businesses. The 2-year MBA in Business Analytics program will prepare graduates to leverage the power of Data Analytics onto business trends, and predictions. With a huge interest and investment in Big Data technologies, professionals carrying the skills of Big Data Analytics are in huge demand, as organisations pay attractive incentives and packages for qualified professionals. With a combination of technical, managerial, data visualisation and storytelling skills, our MBA Business Analytics graduates will be prepared for leadership roles across industries & companies world over.

The Master of Science in Operation Theatre Technology is a two year degree program designed to provide in depth knowledge & impart skills to the student to assist in preparation of operation theatre before & during an elective or emergency surgery. The post-graduate students must take part in seminars, short topic discussions, case discussions, journal club presentations and clinical postings. The academic training will include lab work, experimental work and dissertation. The program lays emphasis on Applied Anatomy & Physiology, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Microbiology, Medical Ethics, Anesthetic Techniques and CSSD Procedures.

The program is committed to the pursuit of a science-based approach to psychology. The clinical-scientist model serves as the basis of our training program that prepares graduates for a wide range of careers in academic, medical, and applied settings. As such, graduates of the program are expected to be competent in psychological research and be knowledgeable about the scientific bases of clinical psychology applications, such as assessment and intervention. The program is focused on developing skilled and ethical professionals who are competent in interpersonal relationships, assessment and evaluation, intervention and consultation, and research. This course is, thus, perfectly suited for Psychology graduates interested in careers as practitioners or researchers.
